Casa Cominetti

I loved this little unique 'oasis' of a restaurant in Catford/Lewisham where I went many years ago. The food was absolutely delicious and the desserts displayed on the trolley were 'to die for'. Yummy..Mmmm.

Later, when on a trip to Switzerland, I met a very distinguished gentleman (who was a friend of a friend) and the Casa Cominetti was well known to him! I was taken aback to think that this little restaurant was so highly thought of in Switzerland. Such a pity that it is now closed. I would have loved to have gone back to reminisce.
