Mezza Express

I really like the food at this restaurant. Generally Lebanese dining is causal/smart and relaxed so if you are looking for romantic, probably better choosing Noura (although food is not as great there)

If you know about lebanese food, and you order the right things, you wont be disappointed. There meat platter is great, hommous irresistable and fatoush mouth watering!

Their take away is also to the same high standard although delivery times need to be improved.

Being lovers of lebanese food and having eaten in some of the best lebanese restaurants in London, we decided to try Mezza last night. After all the positive reviews, we were really looking forward to it. I had pre-booked but they put us on a table right next to the serving drinks area which was pretty distracting. Within 2 minutes of sitting down the manager was harassing us to order. He kept saying because you have a taste london card you have to be quick and he was pretty rude to us to be honest and made us feel like second class citizens. The starters came quickly and to fair, the starters were amazing. The homous was the creamiest I have ever eaten. Again whilst were were still eating the starters they were taking away plates and putting out our cutlery for our main courses! It was really rude! Not liking being so rushed (and having planned a leisurely dinner) I asked for a break before our mains came. 10 minutes later they arrived! My brother and I both ordered lamb shawarmas. The meat was horribly fatty (as in some of it was just lumps of fat and no meat) and grisly - it was inedible, so I called over a waiter. He said, "you obviously do not know how shawarmas are made, that is the recipe and how they are supposed to be". Again really rude. They did change our mains for a lahm meshwi which we shared as our appetites had been ruined with all that fat! Never again!

oooooooooo myyyyyyy goooooooddddddd i absolutely love this place i will go there again and again and again the food the service the staff the atmosphere absolutly fabulous, i love it so much i wish i could eat there everyday!! do not ever hesitate to go there take it from me, a unforgatable experience.

Rarely an I so impressed that I actually search out places to review a restaurant. Myself and my two teenage children visited this place on a whim last saturday on a weekend trip to London. We all love middle eastern food so when we found Mezza Express we went in.

I cannot praise the food or staff highly enough. They were very busy but we were quickly atteneded and at no point felt forgotten or overlooked in this busy place. The food was delicious , very filling and very inexpensive for the quality.

If you want Michelin style food do not come here but if you want to eat a lovely meal in friendly efficient surroundings and have some fun then do not miss it.

Visited this restaurant last week with a friend of mine. I had read some really good reveiws so though I would try it out. All I can say is that I wasn't let down the food was lovely. The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome and were always smiling and polite.

My friend and I ordered 4 different starters and a main to share and there was more than enough food. We even had enough left over to take home a doggy bag! All this for just £35 between us. Definetly value for money.

I would recommend this place to anyone and will be going back there very soon.

I found in that Lebanese restaurant the kindness of Lebanese people I've already encountered in Beirut.

Food, inside decoration and service are up to what you can expect from an excellent Lebanese restaurant.

I warmly recommend it to everyone!

Awesome place - I have also had the pleasure of ordering take-away from these deligthful people on a number of occasions (you know when you have a rubbish day and only fragrant Moutabel dressed with pomegranate seeds and melt-in the mouth Samboussek will do!. . ) Quality of food is exceptionally high at this place. food arrives hot - and they lovely owners always pop in a little extra sweet dish - and enough extra bread - very thoughtful.

the owners try very hard to please their customers - so I felt moved to comment on what an excellent job they are doing at Mezza Express.
