I hoped it would not feel like a pub, but two tables of rowdy birthday parties made it impossible to forget it. Blokes who shout a lot, aren't they funny? But the service was great, personal and friendly and quick, and made us feel better about that, while the food was scrumptious. Calves brains were extraordinary, loved the goat curry, and Caroline's chicken looked like it had lived a long and ultimately meaningful life, quite clearly delighted to end up on her plate. Oh, and the chocolate souffle was amazing.

Eaten here twice , one lunch and one dinner and really most impressed; carefully sourced seasonal ingredients cooked and served with great care and precision. In particular at dinner the decoration and low lighting creates a very cosy atmosphere and its a very good addition to the Putney restaurant scene. Good value too with tap water offered and great wine recommendation
