This intimate restaurant five minutes from the tube station, offers good food, with simple ingredients. The chefs obviously know their wares and create good honest dishes at a very reasonable price. The ambience and decor was good, and although quiet on this mid week evening, I guess in the current climate, it was to be expected. Service was pleasent with a friendly waitress, who delivered in every way. Would give it the thumbs up

Under new management for the past year and now known as Chaplin's this is great fine dining without too much pomp and cirumstance and no need to travel into town either.
A good mix of firm favourites and some innovative dishes but none too mucked about.
If you want real food and not just your usual re-heated chain fayre, then this is a great place for almost any night out. The Ladies Night's every month are a good chance for the ladies to sample the wares on a budget too, while you can treat the old-uns to an afternoon tea.
