Chaplin's

This unique restaurant just outside the main high street in Ickenham offers very good food at reasonable prices. They have re evaluated their menu and incorporated some great dishes at a much lower price than before, but the quality has not dwindled. I guess they they are just trying to attract new clientele in this current climate. It is not the fine dining that was previously offered, so dont go expecting this, although Im sure they would do dishes if you asked in advance, but instead, good quality food, and not processed or straight off a Brakes lorry like you see parked outside the local pubs. All mains were priced under £10 and the steak I had, was advertised as handcut, and you could tell, it was cut fresh and cooked to order. The waiting staff were attentive, and yet not intruding. All in all a very enjoyable evening, and I would thoroughly recommend.
