Well everyones got there own opinion for this restaurant and each time ive gone (and even told friends and family) that I enjoyed the food offered and especially as its not just one type theres several to choose from, and I thought it was really nice yet quick food. Ok I did have to wait to order drinks but whats stopping you from going up to a busy staff member via getting your first order and asking yourself rather than be waited on...not everyones patient. :0)

Jimmy Spices at Sutton Coldfield at the end of grace shopping centre above Aldi actually spans further on two more shops. The size of the place is so vast which made me think about the owner that either he must be brave or must have lots of money.
They have gone and put up the biggest restaurant anywhere spent money like no tomorrow.
If there were not such a big car park behind them I could have end up parking a mile away on a busy night. They have central kitchen for Chinese, Indian, Italian and Thai food. Lots of home made desert (as the chef told me) ranging from cheese cake, mousse, truffle to Indian desert some of which I have never seen before, very tasty never the less.
One arrival there is a choice of going to bar lounge with arm chair light seat, booth and high chairs so you can sit on the bar big enough to hold as many friend you can gather.
The restaurant seat are so cosy you want to sit there whole night. There is so much live cooking like stir fry kebab naan, pasta, pizza they even make fresh dessert in front of you.
The service is good no hard sell, the staff is friendly, would see so many local boys and girl working together. The decoration is such original as not seen anywhere like an art museum on all the walls.
I would recommend anyone going out with family or friends to give a try such a live experience with so many families with kids on one side and Hen parties on the other side. Food is plenty and lots of choice.

Exciting looking web site but very dull food, staff were nice but completely overworked the day we went. We had booked a table but had to wait 20 minutes standing at the bar and when we got our table had to wait 10 minutes to order our drinks and another 10 for them to be delivered. The food was very average and thebarbecue wasn't a hoped for original Jimmy Spices concept, just a bog standard Mongolian WOK with the sort of uncleaned tiny luminous pink prawns that you couldn't give away and marinated chicken so finely sliced it was difficult to get any onto the slop scoop and plate. Anyway, as I said, the staff wern't to blame and the Gordons Gin and Schweppes tonic tasted fab, so much so that after my 4th I thoroughly enjoyed the Kit Kat I smuggled in for dessert.

The food here is very average. If you are after a nice meal i wouldnt choose this restaurant. However, if you are after something quick (not necessary cheap) this is your place. We paid about 15 pounds each (without drinks), i thought that i couldve got a much nicer pub meal at that price or even less. The only positive thing i have to say is that the staff are friendly and its a very spacious restaurant. You can easily take push chairs into the restaurant without having to squeeze through tables ! Oh and the desserts really are terrible....(just in case u were looking forward to it at the end of your meal)!

Choice of foods is good, and the decor and atmosphere is pleasant. BUT..
The food is definately hit and miss. We ate at 7.30pm on a Thursday, and the food was almost all dry and overcooked (perhaps from reheating the left overs from lunch?).
We had been before when it was already busy, and the food was not overcooked / perhaps reheated from the previous sitting. So pick your time right!
The quality of the food is good, and at £12.95 including dessert (Sun - Wed) in the evening and £5.95 at lunch, it is still good value.
