Mexicali

I went with my wife and another 2 mexican friends two months ago, looking to have some nice mexican food. The food was great and the service was very good (the only thing they need to address is the lack of freshly prepared salsas in the tables). I will certainly recomend the place to anyone looking to experience some nice mexican food, although it's a little bit expensive (£100 for 4 people)

I went to Mexicali last night and had one fo the worst eating out experiences I think I have had in London. The service was awful and the staff were bordering on the unfriendly. They hadn't even cleared our first course plates when they brought us our main courses. The food was seriously mediocre in fact it was inedible. The burritos were full of fat cheese and pretty stringy dry chicken.

We decided for a sharp exit and asked for the bill mentioning our bad experience, the waiter despite it being his first day really couldn't have cared less. We did get a mumbled apology as he was walking away but that was all we were going to get. We paid the full price for the bill and left with our main course plates still sitting on the table despite having waited 20 minutes for the bill!
