I was modestly impressed with this new restaurant on my visit last week. Although this place is slightly out of the way from the headline Indian restaurants in Tooting, i would recommend checking this place out for something different.

They use an authentic indian spices, which is why servings take slightly longer. The interior could be improved, but you do pay for what you get. T

he only downside i'd say is that the food is a bit oily, but i guess that adds the great flavours. Was really surprised that this place isn't as busy as it should be and recommend trying it. I'd say that this was within my top 5 curry houses to eat in Tooting.

I have to say the meat starters were very impressive as they tasted like my mum’s kebabs back home. The lively atmosphere on the Friday I went was great, it was a nice crowd, very family orientated with small groups of professionals.

I am definitely going to return with my friends after work for meals or leaving parties as the bill didn’t burn our pockets for the quality of food and environment which was provided. I would recommend going on a weekday to avoid the busy rush I assume is normal for this establishment on weekends.

I came from Milton Keynes to visit my family in London. I found Yars Village Restaurant on the lonodn eating guide. I took the whole family there and we had an AMAZING time!

With easy parking, the welcome was warm and inviting. They made all 8 of us feel very very welcome, including our 3 year old daughter.

The waiter informed us of how fresh the food is cooked and even though the wait was slightly longer than other restaurants it was very worth the wait. Good fresh food takes the right time to cook!

We ordered a variety of foods including the mix grill as a main dish. All dishes were extremely tasty and the mix grill a great dish to share.

The nan bread was fresh off the tandoor.

I will return to Yars Village and recommend it.

Yars Village.....A good addition in chain of Indian/Pakistani Restaurants in Tooting. Fabulous Food and good service. Restaurant also has a good selection of traditional foods like Siri Payai, Fried Maghaz etc. I shouldnt be reluctant to say that Service and waiting time for food is really good. I recommend you to go there once.......................

Yars Village is an excellent restaurant. i been to this place in tooting branch and their food is excellent as well as quick service. i would love to go again . In short Best Indian food you can get from here. Thanks to the management of this restaurant.

Fantastic place.. Definately try this place out, great value for money, fresh juice, good food and exceptionally polite staff. All in an amazingly cosy & ambient atmosphere!

I went to Yars Village on Saturday 19th January 2007 for a meal with my family upon a friends recommendation . I''ve frequented most of the Curry houses in Tooting and thought "why not give this one a go". From the moment I stepped in I recieved a warm smile and my family were escorted to their seats. The evening was truly a delight. It is rare to find a restaurant where service, food and price are so exceptional. Our meal was sensational, the mix grill really gives others in the vicinity a run for their money. We requested mild spices for the children and were impressed at how the kids didnt complain "Its too hot" as they often do. Overall I give the team at Yars Village 10/10, will definitely be going back their again.
