Gourmet Burger Kitchen - Canary Wharf

Ate at the canary wharf restaurant and, having just returned from NY, I was very disappointed. The meat was just like any burger you can buy in a supermarket and the bread wasnt fresh. The gimick with GBK is on adding silly ingredients to cover the taste of the average quality meat. I cannot understand all the good reviews - GBK wouldnt stand a chance in NY. I'll go back if they start doing premium quality burger patties (without old and dried out buns too!) and that went for the 3 people I was with.

Nothing Gourmet About it !!!
We visited GBK with for a dinner last evening and overall experience was pretty dismal. they have some good dishes on the menu but food doesn't taste fresh. Baked aubergine was missing the rich flavours.
Decor is pretty much office like and I am sure it isn't the best place if you are looking forward to something different after a gruelling day at office.
Lastly, it runs a self order system similar to Nando's only at significantly higher prices than later. For Gourmet prices, the food/experience/decor is very much below average restaurant.
