I went to Regina Margherita last weekend and I had a great night. I can confirm that the food is genuine and has a real italian taste.
Staff is smiley, nice and warm. They have a great range of wine and you can try some chilled limoncello.
I tried the pizza by the meter and it was one of the best pizza I have ever tried in London!!!

Having read the other reviews, I felt I had to add my two pennies worth. Living in Islington, we've been to Regina Margherita a few times and the service and food has always been to a really high standard. I've recommended this place to a few others and they have had the same great experiences I have - obviously you love it !.I really can't understand how people choose to go to the nearby Pizza Express. They obviously prefer their pizzas small, undercooked and overpriced. Having lived in London I can safely say this is the best pizza restaurant I've been to in the capital

I've been at Regina Margherita for dinner last Thursday, with my boyfriend.
We are Pizza Express abitue' , but on Saturday night it was just overcrowded. So we thought to give a try to the restaurant with fire-wood oven just in front of Pizza Express. As soon as we got in, we received a warm welcome from the manager and his staff. We had the fried mozarela as starter and it was absolutely fantastic.
As main course we tryed their typical "pizza by the meter", which we ordered with different flavours: one of the best pizzas I have ever tried in London. To finish, we shared a wicked home-made desert: fresh and tasty.
Even if the staff is mainly Italian and with a few difficulties with English, I would definitely rekon this restaurant, mainly because I truly believe that it offers some genuine food, rather that many other well- known big chains, where the quality it's similar to a fast-food level.

Finally the Made in Italy group arrived in my neighborhood with this new gem called Regina Margherita. I ve been a customer of this family run group for over 10 years (Used to go to Made in Italy down the King's road, or Napule', Fulham Br and Luna Rossa, Notting Hill) and I've always enjoyd their Super food , DELICIOUS massive pizzas by the meter and their very friendly and warm atmosphere. Even though a few years ago i moved to Islington, to live, i kept going there about twice a week, but it was miles away. I'm now going at Regina Margherita, 3 to 5 times a week and always enjoying this experience more and more. Hope they will expand even more and i really think they deserve to become a Very Big Group.

This is as close to the real thing as it gets. Produce comes out fresh, hot and presented in a traditional italian rustic manner. There are few restuarants in London that can compete. Being italian born and bred, trust me this is very good nosh. Also one of my best friend's father lives in Naples (home of pizza) and was thoroughly impressed with the offering. The staff are attentive, thougtful and smiley. Prices are reasonable as well - what can I say: get your ass out of pizza express across the road and straight into this slice of pure italian bliss!

Best pizza ive ever tasted!
Its a chain too so there are a few more scattered over London. Definitely worth a visit. I went to Regina Margherita for a friends party and we had a great night, great wine and some chilled limoncello to finish it off. Your pizzas come out all together on one great wooden board so yours is still in front of you but cooked with everyone else's.
Ill be going again very soon
