Thai Silk Restaurant and Bar

This has got to be my most favourite Thai Restaurant now that their branch at Waterloo has closed down. It is hidden away from traffic and tucked away behind Southwark Jubilee line underground station, but still only 5 minutes walk from Waterloo station.

We were able to start our evening outside on their big outside seating area, even though they had big umbrellas and heaters it got a bit cold so we asked to go inside, the staff were just so kind and sweet, nothing too much trouble.

The food was fantastic and not expensive, drinks were reasonable as well, with agreat pint of Kirin that was kept very well. I can't wait for a bit of sunshine as I want to sneak off work and spend an afternoon scoffing and enjoying their beer and sunshine
