Nakhon Thai - Wapping

Having eaten before at the Waterfront branch (our local), my partner and I decided to try Nakhon Thai Wapping for a change of scenery and but the same expectation in quality of food. And we were right - the food was amazing as always, especially the 'Drunken duck' and the dumplin starters. We went for the 50% off deal so the meal was excellent value for money also.

The service was great, not too imposing but attentive and the waiter very kindly filled up the 'Nam Pla Prik' pot 3 times. Perfect!

Highly recommended!

All in all a pretty good thai restaurant in a great water front setting.

Service was quick and friendly, food was good (drunken duck & panang curry were the highlights) and the wine list covered most areas.

With the 50% off the food for 3 people and 2 bottles of Gavi the bill came in at £103 including service.

Apart from the lack of fellow customers (it was a Sunday night) and what appeared to be the owners sitting at the bar watching their waiters every move it was a good meal and a welcome addition to the area.

Went to Nakhon Thai in Wapping last Friday and found it such a delightful and cosy place. My partner and I savoured the tranquil and romantic atmosphere and the food as in the other branches was mouth watering. Service was fantastic and I have to recommend that this place is a hidden goldmine for some of the best wine you can choose from. A definate place to go back for a lovely evening!
