Ok food, some dishes pretty good others are a bit disappointing. The menu is massive with so many dishes but I think it would be better if they stuck to a smaller menu of freshly prepared dishes. Some things we have ordered are definitely frozen and reheated, sometimes not all the way through...still cold in the middle as the microwave didn't heat evenly.

Staff are friendly and smiley, service is a bit haphazard though. I think the dishes are too expensive though for the size of portion and quality. I think the place does well as there is a lack of decent places in the area but does not really match up to Thai places in this price range elsewhere.

The Thailand Restaurant just gets better and better! Very friendly, efficient staff, nice simple spotless decor and their food is excellent! I have travelled extensively in Thailand and the quality of food in this little South London Restaurant is on a par with anything in Thailand which is something few Thai restaurants in the UK can match! Their prices are low to fit the area, but better still is their 'Happy Hour' menu, 2 courses from a set menu of about 16 or so dishes for under £4 - recently they extended this 'Happy Hour' to 12md to 7pm weekdays, and remains 12-2ish, and 5-7pm weekends, opening beyond 7pm nightly with their extensive al a carte menu. I would recommend the Tom Ka Gai loaded with tantalising galangal and the Green Chicken Curry, for me I love both really spicy and they will prepare everything to your taste!! I have reviewed The Thailand in the past on this site, the standard of food used to sometimes be a bit variable, as was the service, but for the past 9 months both have been consistently excellent! Been there tonight, as I do most weeks and already planning another trip, maybe even tomorrow!!!

Me and my partner went here for the first time for a take away. i will be coming back again. while waiting for the food i was given crackers not all take aways offer this so was impressed with this. next time I will eat in and can't wait.

Downstairs is more clubby in appearance with atmospheric lighting and funky round tables and stools. There is a big TV screen for karaoke. Would be a really fun venue for a large party.

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Great value for money, with a wide choice on the menu, and everything tasted very fresh.
