Have eaten here for over twenty years and will never return. When I arrived with 6 members of staff last night at 10pm we were the only people there. I am not surprised. I asked a waiter on three occasions not to fill wine glasses to the brim to which he continued doing. Always the mark of bad quality and service to empty a bottle into a full glass when others glasses at the table actually need filling. It is just rude and a tacky way to sell extra drink. The food was average at best (the food used to be great quality and reasonable local Indian food) and the price is not reflective of the quality especially when you consider the amount of top quality and reasonably priced Indian establishments within a short distance. Having ordered a second bottle of wine at 10.55, the waiter emptied the bottle at 11.10 and then announced they were closed. This was followed by a Hoover being plugged into the wall right beside us. Which I turned off. If this restaurant does not want customers at 10 o clock at night, don't open. I hate to write negative reports on anywhere but after 20 years of good custom this place does not deserve to survive with its new owners who was rude to the core. This was a table of 5 females and myself arriving after working late, having their first drink of the day not a table of 6 blokes after a night in the pub. I dread to think how the girls would have been treated if I was not with them.

I was staying in London for a few days with friends who suggested we try the Kensington Tandoori. It was extremely good, on all counts. The food was gorgeous, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff were efficient, courteous and served us quickly. It was the best Indian food I've had. The meal was a little pricey but deservedly so. I would recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back.

In our London trip, we went last monday in Kensington Tandoori to have a meal. The food was excellent, tasty and we've got enough in our plate with a starter and a main course to pass the dessert. The choice of meal is interesting and various, but you have to know a little bit about indian and bengladesh food to go there. The service was quite good with an exception. The chief server was probably in bad mood, because he was not kind. The others were absolutely friendly and smily. The atmosphere was good, silent and simple. It's a good price-money value if you're searching indian food in London.

A recent visit to London and looking for somewhere with Indian food, our taxi driver suggested KT.

What a great meal and the service was excellent.

Thanks KT for a fantastic night.

I have been to Kensington Tandoori before. I have to say I was really disappointed last time. The service was very poor and the food was average. After that I decided I will never go back to that place again but yesterday when I was passing by I saw the new look of that restaurant so I went in with least expectation. I have to say I was surprise this time. Under the new management the quality of the service was really good, better than any Indian restaurant I have ever been to. They were really friendly. Also the food was really delicious.

The food is bit pricey. Maybe it’s for the area but I have to say it’s worth the money. I will defiantly go back there with my family and friends and also recommend other as well. I am sure no one would disappoint.

Having eaten at this restaurant for over twenty years things haven taken a serious turn for the worse - it started to go downhill some time ago - now it has reached an all time low.

Rude waiters, average atmosphere and food that i would not wish to give to my dog

Do not go to this curry house
