I love The Clock. The Clock rocks. I rock around The Clock.

They also do excellent coffee.

The Clock is lovely. Shame on anyone who says it isn't.

Ok, so the high seats are annoying. But otherwise it's really nicely done inside. The tiles are pretty. The coffee is tasty and the sandwiches are made with epic bread. There's a nice poached egg breakfast too.

Chris is good. Essential. Leave him alone.

I love The Clock. And I will be in on Saturday.

Thank god for the Clock Cafe... It is a warm and welcoming place that has none of the stereotypical chainisms that so many other places have. The food is clearly made fresh daily and the coffee, well that packs the kinda punch that you need in the morning and early afternoon.

Is it perfect?? Absolutely not but nothing is and that is its quite perfect charm. If we want perfect lets go to a portion controlled chain that has no individuality and gives us perfect sterilisation of the service industry. PS dont get me wrong I love a Starbucks or Nero, but if I have the choice it's uniqueness that wins hands down.

Staff are all individuals with some being stronger in certain areas than others but thats why I love this place, the menu differs daily , with a few stalwarts like the sausage rolls being available everyday as does the service (which is never bad as has been depicted in previous reviews) depending on who you get but all in all its a right cracker and I hope that all in Highbury and the surrounds support this little wonder in the heart of North London.

As much as I love to support indies in the area, this place is such a mess inside it really put me off. I really wanted to like it more.

I regularly spend my weekend mornings in here. Superb coffee, friendly staff and great sandwiches. The owner has the best laugh you will ever hear.
