I thoroughly recommend this place. The food is absolutely delicious and whilst the wine is expensive, (the 2 course menu is £22) it is the best of it's kind in Chelsea in my opinion.

A delightful place - courteous staff, beautiful design, and a lively and thoughtful menu. Good cooking with lots of nice touches. And all at a price to die for! I strongly recommend trying Jimmy's - it is the sort of small restaurant that I would turn into my local eatery if I lived nearby.

Went last night for the first time (live close by) and had a fantastic evening.
Jimmy's is small but feels relaxed because of the decor and gorgeous chandelier. My husband and I work long days and what we needed was a restaurant we could eat at locally that was going to serve great food and not be too formal.
I ate truly great ravioli of smoked haddock followed by simple and beautifully cooked whole lemon sole. Chips on the side were crispy on the outside like roast potatoes but soft and fluffy on the inside. Husband had crab & crayfish starter, served with avocado which he loved and i tried and then had a delicious looking lamb pie.
All of this was preceded by freshly baked bread (we were told baked at the restaurant) of different varieties including a cheese roll that was my favourite.
Just had room to share a knicker-bocker-glory which if you can't remember from childhood is a tall ice cream sundae style pud served in a tall glass with a long spoon (2 in this case).
Best bit is that 2 courses are £22 which in our area is cheap and for the quality we got is amazing. The point being really that we had a big night out (3 courses, water, wine and coffee) in a really cool room on the Kings road for under £100 (in total, not each).
We think we'll probably be back once a week when we can't be bothered to cook.
Staff were really relaxed and friendly and happy but did a great job and we didn't have to ask twice for anything. Lovely loos too.

Went along to Jimmy's with some dear friends that are usually hard to impress and I am glad to say that Jimmy's ticked all the boxes, the food was amazing, the interior was beautiful and the atmoshphere was very relaxed. I recommend the sea bass which was to die for, my partner had the beef wellington which he bragged the best he has had to date! I will be back very, very soon, I would highly recommend a visit .

Took a big risk by taking a first date to a new restaurant but it certainly paid off (the restaurant not the date!). The food was fantastic as was the decor and atmosphere. Although the restaurant seemed very professional and at a higher level than most it still seemed to feel relaxed without that stuffy ' we're better than you' feeling that you get with a lot of top end restaurants

I went to Jimmy's in its first week having watched it being built over the last couple of months. Certainly the room looks lovely, glamorous and grown up but still funky enough to go with friends and have lots of fun - which we did. A noisy table of 6 girls, we were looked after by incredibly charming staff who couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Glasses of champagne arrived frosted in impossibly tall flutes which made us feel very elegant and a bowl of home baked bread hinted at just how good the food was going to be. The menu is simple and easy to read, 6 choices of each course, all of which sounded delicious. We tried to try most things between us but the crab and crayfish cocktail was too good for 3 of us to ignore. For my main course I chose whole sea bass which was delicate and delicious but didn't stop me trying out the beef wellington and venison as well. Both equally delicious! Desserts are well worth trying to leave room for, the bakewell tart is the best I have tasted since my mums. And hers is very very good. I have been back already to check it really is this good - and it is.

Awesome food, great service and atmosphere, and some nice laid back tunes to eat to. Recommend the pea tart and the beef Wellington, and the sunken private table with its white leather is very cool. Can't wait to go back.

I love trying new restaurants, so I thought I would give Jimmy's a go when I read about it last week. We were so impressed, I was inspired to write a review. The menu looked fantastic and the food was superb , especially for such good value (£27 for 3 courses). We had a really enjoyable evening and the staff were friendly and James, the owner, even came over to check we were happy - what service! I would highly recommend this restaurant and it is my firm new favourite.
