Bar Solo

I had a great time last friday night in Solo! Friend of mine had a birthday party and there was 10 of us out for the night. We started the night with a 2 course dinner (£10!!!!) and loads of refreshing cocktails in the restaurant upstairs. The food and cocktails were all amazing, and the staff was very friendly and funky.

Around 10.30 we headed to the downstairs lounge bar/club which looks more like you are in New York than in London, where we carried on tasting one cocktail after the other while dancing our night away.

Overall, a complete night out; dinner, drinks, dancing, all in one...

I would not recommend my pals to come here for lunch as the service is slow and it takes more than 1 hour to serve the meal.

Went first time in 2006 and the service was not great and went there again in 2007 (thought the service had improved) - still slow. The meal arrived after 90 minutes of waiting. I would not recommend anyone to come here.

I aabsolutely love this restsurant!! I go here every chance I get. I introduced my boyfriend to it when we first started dating & he will be a regular for life as well.

Okay food but overpriced IMHO. 2 for 1 drinks on a Friday is good though.
