Have been dining here for 10 years, and for the last 3 years we have held our Christmas curry night here on demand of all my work colleagues.
Food is excellent, some of the best well prepared fresh food you can find
frontage is unassuming, but once inside you are welcomed by friendly staff and a broad menu that seems to define the size of the restaurant.
Garlic chicken is a stunner for starter or main course (marinated for 24hours, then cooked on the bone)
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant its well worht the 2 minute detour form Brick Lane . . . you wont be disapopinted and you wont go back !

Visited Herb & Spice recently (again), still a real gem of an Indian Restaurant between Liverpool St. and Brick Lane.
As always the service and food were excellent, and the price was very reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a good curry without breaking the bank. It's also a little "toned down" from Brick Lane, which can be a bit noisy and full-on.
