Periodically I get the urge for Thai food when in greenwich so have been here maybe three times in ten years.

It never fails to disappoint.

Awful food, poor service and ambience. But they dont really care as they always have a smattering of gullible tourists due to its location.

Awful place. Avoid like the plague!

Terrible. Took friends for a meal here on Friday night, 3rd Sept - the night before my son's wedding. Starters were fine, but then only 3 of our party of 6 were served our main meal, the other 3 had only rice delivered. Their main meal, the Chef's Special 'Weeping Tiger', took at least half an hour to appear, and then had to be sent back as everything was cold! There was no apology from the staff, or management. Their meal eventually arrived at 9pm when the rest of our party had completely finished and were ready to go. On asking everyone else how their meal was, general opinion was that vegetables were overcooked, which is quite unusual for Thai food. So disappointing - would not eat here again.

Ate here on 15 May 2010 in the evening. We pre booked a table for 3 and when arrived got seated in the very far corner near by their glass ornament display cabinet. Our seats were so backed up against the wall I felt claustrophobic as I could barely move. We ordered the mixed hors d’oeuvres to start off with which consist of chicken satay, fish cakes, spring rolls etc along with some dips. I found everything to be over cooked which left the food quite dry. Went onto ordering our main courses. The waitress didn't have a pen and pad at hand to take our order and we were concerned she'd forget. She then came back seconds later, asked us to repeat our order again but this time wrote it down. We had to repeat ourselves on several occasions because she either heard wrong or didn't write it down quickly enough. Ordered a variety of dishes from sea food stir fry which I found too oily and the mussels were over cooked and so was the duck in the fried chilli paste. Also ordered the pad thai with king prawn and I found this not to be the usual traditional dish that i've eaten in Thai Land and in many other Thai restaurants so I was hugely disappointed. It was rather bland and although it was meant to come with grounded peanuts we didn't have any in ours. The only dish we actually enjoyed was the green chicken curry. As it was a friends birthday we ordered their pina coconut ice cream to share, priced at £4.50 it was definitely over priced for what it was and i've defintely had much better.

Would not come back to eat here in a hurry as the quality of food was to average standards and is over priced for what you get. The service was not great either and the atmosphere was okay.

One evening my partner and I went looking for a restaurant for dinner. On just spotting it from the street we decided to try it. Excellant service even better food. Was so great we then took friends out the very next night.

Such a disappointment; we went there on 19.09.09 and were enticed in through the doors by the lure of Thai food and a gentle setting. Things went wrong as soon as we placed an order and were told, only once we'd ordered our drinks, that we had to order more things to make sure we spent a minimum of £10 each. This didn't even take into account wanting to order coffee post-meal. We thought this odd but went with the flow. As we bit into the prawn crackers it was hard not to spit them out - they were so stale they were almost inedible. When we complained to the waitress and asked for more she simply smiled. When the first course came the Thai soup we ordered was swimming in so much oil it was impossible to cut beneath the surface. Leaving the mushrooms to their greasy fate we hoped to have more luck with the main course. Alas, it was not to be! The noodles were gray and gungy, wrapping themselves cobra-like around chunks of thick yellow tofu that were covered in a thick waxy substance. The 'dry' jungle curry went the same way as the soup and swam in oil and was essentially just as runny. Again we tried to communicate that this was not exactly what we had hoped for and were greeted by a smile and a shocking lack of action; not so much as an apology. Finally we decided to cut our losses; we paid the bill, left the food uneaten and headed out to the noodle bar further down the street for a decent meal. My suggestion would be to avoid this restaurant at all costs - I love good Thai food and this is not it.
