I love this place, this most genuine thai food for miles around. The staff friendly if a little slow (although excellent compared to many london restaurants). If only they delivered !!

I used to visit this restaurant many years ago when the food was excellent. However, my recent meal was far from good. While my prawn toasts were OK, the steamed dim sun were the most unappetising I have ever eaten. They were like stodgy bullets with virtually no filing!

The Pad Phed Talay (mixed seafood) was so spicy as to be almost inedible, wasn't on a sizzling plate as this meal should be served, but in a gloopy unpleasant red sauce. And for £13 - far more expensive than anywhere else I have eaten.

Staff looked bored and were inattentive. All in all a great disappointment and a BIG change from a couple years ago.

We hadn't been to this restaurant before - despite living locally - and we fancied a thai meal. The food was really impressive - very good, particularly the mixed starter. It was busy as it was a saturday night, and we'd luckily booked in advance. Good atmosphere and a very pleasant evening overall. We will definitely be going back!

i live nearby and go here often. It is easily the best oriental restaurant in the neighbourhood, do takeout as well and are always polite and friendly.

Good veggie selection as well, decent wine and they do all of the typical thai dishes well. Particularly fond of the tom yum.

Not sure about the comments on the service, I have never had problems, though they can get busy on weekends. Takeout has never taken more than 10 minutes either!

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in London. It's very clean, the food is gorgeous and the staff are very attentive. I always make my friends come down to Greenwich to eat here. It beats Central London's Thai restaurants by miles.

The service must have improved since the last reviewer visited, as all the staff were charming, gentle, attentive and not at all pushy. We lingered for ages over dinner on a Friday and never felt under any pressure. Having read the previous review before we went, we were on the lookout for service problems but there were none! The food was good but average (only because Thai resataurants in London are setting such high standards). I'd be happy to recommend Kum Luang and we'll certainly go back.

Great friendly service and beautiful food. Their king prawn with basil and baby aubergine green curry has to be tried !!!!

Average food.The most annoying thing about the place however was that they kept reminding you that you need to spend at least 10 pounds per person. That surely left a bad taste in my mouth !!! Wouldnt waste my time again there are loads of better restaurants in the area.
