Booked Kitchin N1 for my birthday for lunch time, and unfortunately, the place didn't live up to expectations. Food was cold, and the manager was a little rude to be honest. I'm not going to argue that Kitchin N1 will be bad for dinner, they probably pull out everything for dinner, but do not go for the lunch time buffet unless you only want the stir fry which I must say was probably the only good thing (although it was a lacking a little in sauces and vegetables- for a stir fry experience, I would go to Mongolian Barbecue any day which unfortunately was closed for repairs)

Pricing was reasonable I guess, but I honestly think they could do very well if they tried at lunch time.

Went here last night after work and was pleasantly surprised. Pretty much a unique restaurant in London and the choice of food was exceptional. There's no way you can try everything and you even get a choice of some quality desserts and sweeties. All for 12.95. Good wine selection and they have Cobra on tap (£3.10) at decent proceses for a restaurant.

Decor is in keeping with the atmosphere and the waiters and waitresses were very attentive - there is only so much they can do when serving a buffet. Plenty of choices of pickles and pasta, pizza, bread, etc. Absolutely loads.

Will definitely go here again - and at the end of the meal we got a book of vouchers to spend next time! including things like free wine, mony off, % off and so on. Well worth a visit. There's even plenty for the veggies.

This restaurant was recommended from the hotel i was staying in - Kitchin N1. It sounded different enough with its muliti cuisine offereings so we paid it a visit. I was more curious than anything else.

A group of 4 of us visited the resturant tucked away in Kings Cross on a cold Wednesday evening. We hadnt booked in advance but we still got seated even though they seemed to have a couple of large parties on. The restaurant is stunning & huge dominated by a large central kitchen where the food is freshly cooked.

The food on offer is a variety of chinese, italian, Thai & Indian in buffet and live cooking ( the chinese chef is great ) format all arranged around this central kitchen. You choose the whatever food you want in any combination. On that night I had the indian starters with a chinese noodle dish which I chose the ingredients for and which was then cooked by the chef in front of me - I really liked this feature and by the queue of people waiting for this station other people seemed to think it was good as well. I eventually squeezed in a cheese cheese cake desert to finish off with.

The selection of food I had was lovely - very good value when you think its a starter, main & desert all for 12.95 and on top it eat as much as you like !! The deserts were nice but could do with more of a selection which I mentioned to the waitress. The service was ok. I didnt know what to expect and wasnt to too sure if multi cuisnes would retain the quality and authenticity but I was pleasantly surpised by this restaurant. Overall a great recommendation !!
