Of the eleven or so Indian restaurants in our town, a small handful serve consistently decent food. Of these the Taste of Mogul is my personal favourite because the dishes are not limited to the traditional and "new" Bengali/Indian recipes - they also include southern indian ( masala dosas ) and Mumbai chaat for example. The simple dishes like Dal soup, or Tandoori Chicken are excellent and the Officer's Chop and Dover Sole are great for those wishing to try something more adventurous.

Booked our office Christmas party at Taste of Mogul and had a great time. Food was superb and service efficient and unobtrusive. Will definitely return before next Christmas!
