Having been a regular visitor to the restaurant for many years, l was extremely disappointed by last Saturday nights experience. My friend and I waited for almost 30mins before having our order taken. We did try and order several times, but each time got told, "in a minute, l will take your order once l have sat these people waiting down". However, as we sat and waited, patiently, we watched as several other groups of people were seated, orders taken and food served. Our starters were finally brought to us after a further 30minute wait and as an apology for the wait we were given a complimentary starter, however the service didn't improve for our main course, as after almost 2hours in the restaurant, severals queries later and still no main course, we informed the waiter we would be leaving. We were aghast to be told, " what more can l do, its saturday night, its busy, l've given you a free starter and l'm tried!".

It is such a shame as this was a great little restaurant and the food is gorgoeus, however l strongly feel it has become a victim of its own success and the owners need to think about ways they can better deal with busy nights.

We went to this little restaurant on Saturday night purely because of the reviews on this site and we weren't dissapointed. The food was excellent and great value for money. The BYO is great too because you don't pay through the nose for cheap wine. In fact if you run out you don't have to walk far to get another bottle as there is a Waitrose just across the road which is open late. The restaurant is right near Balham station so couldn't be easier. It must be a popular too because there was a queue outside for most of the time we were there.

The only drawbacks are that it's a cramped as it's so small, eveyone is almost shouting to be heard as it's a kind of canteen atmosphere. The back stairs and toilet are a bit dodgy too! Still, not enough to put you off would definately go back again.

This restaurant is a great little find. When you walk in you would not expect the fantastic food they serve. Really fresh ingedients and great taste. It is bring your own alcohol so makes for a really bargain night out. The service is friendly and attentive and they recommended some great dishes. I am so pleased to have found this place and will be back!

The best Thai and Vietnamese food that I've eaten outside of Thailand and Vietnam.

Simple, no frills decor matches the fresh and unfussy, delicous food. I was thrilled to realise that there were no unecessary fusions available!

The staff are friendly and willing to make suggestions which I love, they know what they're talking about. A fun place to come for a relaxed and tasty dinner.

What a special place. Doesn't matter how well I think I can cook a mean Thai curry or soup - each time I come here I'm proved sorely wrong! Not that I'm the first to realise this of course - it's always busy and there's a great vibe to enjoy with your meal. And for all true lovers of Thai food, don't forget to ask for their Prik Nam Pla -once bitten etc etc...
