This pub is such a treat, from the ever changing and always imaginative menu to the exceptional wine list down to the informed, attentive and friendly (and cute!) staff. I never hesitate to book work or social meals in the fantastically decorated first floor restaraunt. Finding a ground level table for afterwork drinks can be almost impossible, but the staff tend to keep an eye out for you if asked.

The tapas is always great for nibbles but for some transcendant delectables try the main menu. Another treat is they actually know how to make a great cup of coffee!! Went for a lazy Sunday roast recently and wasnt dissapointed either, all this proves that in the right hands, a gastro pub can easily compete with (and sometimes better) some of our more pricey and pretensious restaraunts in town. Wonderful place!!

I came on a busy Thursday evening for the first time & I imagine it would be the same on Friday with punters, although I couldnt get in the door, I was greeted immediatly by a manager & was shown a nice quite table on the first floor, that had a great but different decor. Some menus were placed on my table to what seemed to change every day due to availabilty & produce i guess... catered for fish, meat & vegetarian lovers with also a tapas menu with quite alot of choice. I was impressed by the wine menu, quite a lot of choice as well. I had a couple of tapas to start & seemed o.k. for a main I had a Seafood Stew which was awfully filling & I couldnt resist the bread to soak up the juices.... I couldnt of asked for anything more......I'll definetly come back to taste the desserts I couldnt fit in......

I have been to this pub/restaurant a number of times and thought the food good and the staff pleasant. As a result we booked a table for 12 of us from work to have a christmas meal there this week. Although the lady waitressing our table was very nice, efficient and helpful, we were unfortunately treated very poorly by the head waitress who was nothing short of rude to us.

5 friends and I ate here last week. We enjoyed our mixture of tapas and main courses. I have dined here before and usually eat in the bar but this time we ate in the 1st floor dining room which is a very nice space indeed. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The service charge is the standard 12.5%. We will be back in shortly and have already enquired about a christmas booking.
