Il Fornello

By far the best restaurant in the area. The food is excellent and the waiting personnel is very friendly and they seem to know most of their customers. Our waiter was Italian and very loud, extremely friendly and communicative. Our meal was filling and unpretentious, just what we need! We could'nt eat desserts but we'll most definitely go again.

My husband and I go to central London on business and we eat at Il Fornello occasionally. The service has always been excellent, the staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is good value for money and delicious. I particularly liked the chicken marinated with tomato and peppers and the fettucini with vodka. My husband usually takes one of the vide variety of pizzas and tiramisu for dessert. I definitely would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

I am really disappointed. Very expensive for this quality of food. London's restaurants are getting better, but there are still some bad restaurants like this. I totally do not recommend to go here. Staffs were nice but awful food.

God what can i say? What a dissapointing evening, I cant even comment on the food as mine didnt turn up, well 10 mins later and after everyone else had finished. I wont be going back!

I visited this restaraunt on the 7th August 09 and was very disappointed. The atmosphere is more like a school canteen than a restaraunt, the service is rushed, the attitude seeming to be to get as quick a turnover of customers as possible. The food is mediocre, - nothing an adequate cook couldn't cook better him or herself at home. - Forgettable.
