This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant. It actually beats all other restaurants, landing squarely at number one. The dishes even beat the creations of the legendary Hr Schetter of the Quadratscha Hotel at Samedan. The flavours are delightful, the food is healthier than most, and it is all vegan. The wines are all organic, mostly Fairtrade and often biodynamic, and the sommelier knows the dishes well enough to recommend perfect pairings – or event to invent cocktails to complement them. The service is good and whatever mood you are in before entering, you won't be able to help smiling.

They do pack you in a bit – had to listen to the couple next to us and their latest drama's with her mother (albeit rather amusing drama's!) but it didnt detract from what is still a fantastic little restaurant. Food was exceptionally great, good selection, exceptionally high quality and plenty of it. Nightmare to get a reservation here so book well in advance. Enjoyed it immensely – was very busy and staff weren't always as attentive as we'd hope but would def return. Bill was exceptionally reasonable too.

I went to Saf last week and was looking forward to it related to the reviews being pretty good. I shared a mixed appetizer plate with my friend.... The beetroot ravioli had absolutely no flavour whatsoever...The cashew cheeses were tasty, I think that was my favourite part of the whole appetizer, but at about £16 for a bunch of vegetable, olives, and nuts, I thought that was pretty ridiculous. I then had the "tacos". Again, very minimal flavour. I think they threw in a bunch of chilli to give it some gusto, but I thought it was all a bunch of bland mush. I couldn't even finish it. The best part of the night was the wine. I didn't dare try the dessert as I was so dissapointed with the food thus far. The service was not great. The waiter, though very friendly, had to be asked about 5 times to bring us water. One of the girls ordered a drink that was never brought to her. Also it was so warm in the restaurant that the highlight of the night was getting outside to the fresh air.
So basically totally devoid of flavour. £30 later, I left saying there is no way I would come back, nor would I tell my friends to give it a try.

The staff and atmosphere were very nice. A little haven in a busy area. Entrees were pretty tasty with impressive presentation. However, mains were terrible. The mushroom risotto was inedible so my partner went hungry. My mango yellow curry had no mango, was full of disgusting pieces of canned pineapple with about 4 tiny cubes of tofu, a tiny amount of noodles all presented in a huge bowl covered with curry liquid. So considering, prices were outrageous for mains that were either inedible or unpleasant and meager.
