Please come back Amici!

We came here not knowing that Brinkley's had taken over Amici's. We were obviously disappointed that Amici had gone but everything looked the same, including the staff, so we stayed for dinner. The menu was really uninspired. I had the grilled squid to start (always a favourite at Amici) but was shocked at such a small portion...really tiny! My partner had a burger which despite the price and the fancy description was just a common burger, one up from Iceland.

Amici offered amazing food in a fantastic setting and although more expensive than your average Italian restaurant was worth every penny. Brinkley's has ideas above its station. Average food overpriced.
