Busaba Eathai Store Street

This branch is by far the best in terms of food and service. It is a little off the beaten track for us, but we still make it here every so often for a good night out.

Wow!!! Double Wow!! This place is absolutely amazing!!

We came here by chance as we were shopping at habitat and were looking for a bite to eat afterwards. We found this place and were amazed that we hadn't found it earlier. The food was top class, good portion sizes and great flavours. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere a dream. I can only recommend this to anyone!!

The best thing about Busaba is definitely the atmosphere, the food is pretty good and I can see myself eating there again but I think it was a bit pricey for what it you get.

My friend was coming to London for the day and wanted to go to a Thai restaurant. I know the bloomsbury area so I decided to pick somewhere here and had already been to Thai Metro but the atomosphere was a bit bland and from previous reviews I thought Busaba would be better value for money.

We arrived before the dinner rush, thankfully, as later the was a queue stretching around the corner even though it was freezing! It was nice and cosy inside though, with dim lighting (but not that stupid kind where you can't actually see much) and we were sat at window bench.

No complaints about the staff or service. It was far too busy to expect them to come over to you unless you requested. However, they were very organised and our food arrived in good time and the bill shortly after requesting it.

Lastly, the food. We ordered one starter between us, two mains, and two drinks and the bill came to £15 each, which was expected for dinner. However, the starter was overpriced for the 4 tiiiiny spring rolls we got, the main's were priced ok but didn't come with rice which had to be ordered separately (expensive for such a small amount! I'm tiny and even I wasn't satisfied by it), in the other Thai restaurants I have been to rice is included with the main if it's a curry etc. The main course dishes were good though. I wouldn't say it was the best food I've ever eaten but I would like to sample some more of their menu.

All in all, I think Busaba is such a popular restaurant because it's safe, once you've been there you know you will have a good meal.

never fails to impress, not only the atmosphere, but also the service and the food of course! I have booked the downstairs room before for my birthday and that was absolutely amazing. You have one waiter/ress just to yourself downstairs so it is a more pampering than upstairs. The amount of food was a bit too much if you ask me, but that is nothing to complain about is it?!

I will be back!

Food was average, worth less then we paid. Staff seemed annoyed we didn't order a nmber of dishes and then rushed us to finish. Not as good as I remember and would not recommend.

I go to the College of Law on the same street as this place, my partner took me there one evening for dinner after a night of intense revision, I absolutely loved it!!! The venue is fab, nice traditional venue, the lighting is slightly dim, candles lit which gives it a romantc setting. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The saff are great, they're very welcoming, loads of smiley faces and the service is very quick. The food comes hot, looks as though it's just been cooked, it's very well presented and tastes absolutely delicious!!! Since the first time I have been there I have gone back about another 20 other times!! You can alos have a private party down stairs. Oh, forgot to mention, the fod is soooo reasonably piced, I'd be prepared to pay double if I had to!

This is the best food i have EVER eaten. its so yummy in my tummy. Although since i have rather a small stomach i can't eat a lot, therefore this poses a problem. the portions are 2 big!!! BUt was stil bares gd yh. n like the atmosphere is nice as wel. Can i book it 4 my birthday? :)

I think the fact that all the Busaba's have a queue out the door, speaks volumes. I myself have been a regular at Store Street in particular and have never been disappointed. Yes, like in any other restaurant, there will be days when the food isn't at it's best, but all in all it is a great place to go with a great atmosphere and good food. The best thing about it is that the food is actually affordable, so when you are a bit short in cash it is possible to have just a fried rice (maybe the fried rice with green curry chicken) and a glass of water and will leave paying £6 having eaten a substantial and healthy meal without anyone making you feel cheap. Another thing I love about Busaba is the fact that they are one of the very fiew places that does not add any service charge to your bill, which I think is nice as you can pay it at your discretion and not like in other places where you are asked for service when it has been apalling. I would say to all of you who read this, go and check the place out for yourselves and make up your own mind, after all we all have different tastes AND I LIKE IT.

i completely disagree with the previous review. I and my mate had a brilliant time here. The food was great, the general atmoshpere wa great and the serfvice was wicked!!! my only issue was the toilet which has absolutely no space to manouever which is very difficult for us girls to powder the nose.

I'm actually going back there today to try out another meal and i hope the service is as good as it was last week

I went here with friends and found the food very very tasty! Service was efficient and the atmosphere is great. If you don't mind queueing to be seated then this restaurant is a gem, that serves good food at reasonable costs. Highly recommended.
