Don't go here. Food is really not great, corn on the cob was clearly from the freezer and the roast chicken was very dry. The prices are cheap for the area but expensive for what you get.

6th August 2011 - experienced one of the worst meals I have ever had. Skins, Calamari, Brisket all looked and tasted like it was yesterdays left overs, absolutely awful. I can now understand why there were so few diners in the restaurant. Iconic status but the food was very poor quality and poor value for money. On top of that you have to pay £4.95 for a bottle of Miller to wash it down!
I advise you to go to another eatery or go hungry, both options are better than spending your hard earned cash in this place.

I went with two friends and had an absolutely fabulous time. The atmosphere is great; the drinks are good, the food is lovely, and the wait staff are top notch. I was amazed that around a month later, when I went back, the waiter remembered us. What a great attitude. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I came with my family just before 7pm and was seated quickly and also enjoyed the valet parking which I thought was good value. Service was very attentive and speedy and could not fault it, however, it was let down on the quality of food which was very dissapointing. My beef ribs were tough and very chewy, nothing like the melt on the bone ones promised. My two daughters also had the kids portion of ribs and one of their portion of ribs was also tough. My wife's ribeye was warm bordering on cold. I'm hoping we can try them out again and hope that the poor food was just a blip in the reataurant's normal offerings because the atmosphere and service is spot on.

We visted this on my 60th, great service and great food, the burgers were to die for, so tasty, just like you get in the USA, not like the rubbish you normally get here, the ribs were nice and you get two racks of them on your plate if you have the full rack and we all enjoyed every minute we were there...
Unless you're a messy eater and tend to dribble as you eat you don't need the bibs round your neck but a nice touch...
Table had been pre-booked but were told it was for 7pm not what we told on the phone ie 6:30pm, but was seated by 6:45pm so time for another drink....;-)
Service was superb cannot fault it can't wait to go again....

We made a special trip into London to go to the Chicago Rib Shack. Big mistake.
We had booked and received a warning that we only had the table for 2 hours - shame they didn't tell us that some of that time would spent waiting for them to seat us (and it was not a really busy time). What was beyond a joke was that people coming in off the street got seated straight away, but we had to wait for 'our table'. Added to that, I have a wheelchair. There was no mention made of the stair lift, and my husband was made to carry the chair up a flight of stairs.
Food was bland, under-cooked and not a patch on the original rib-shack. The ribs were deep fried it seemed... We stuck to the table - lovely.
We ordered chicken wings which were under-cooked, lukewarm and antiseptic. We called the waiter who was really apologetic and took them straight back. They were served again 15 mins later, still lukewarm and under-cooked. YOU DO NOT RE-HEAT CHICKEN AGAIN !!
The waiter was really embarrassed and said that he had asked for a new portion, I sensed his frustration and you could tell it had happened before.
We had the Combo Platter. The pulled pork was nice, the chicken ok - everything else....well isn't this supposed to be a RIB shack??? Ribs not worth mentioning, fried and the waiter insisted on bringing barbecue sauce, presumably as he knew they would be dry and tasteless without.
The waiters were busy and they really tried. Who was the man in black with a ribshack T-shirt? He did nothing. We caught his eye several times and he just ignored us and walked away.
A very expensive mediocre experience. We will not be returning.

Absolute disappointment. Arrived at 2.15pm, were told we had to wait for half an hour, after constant reminding we were given a table at 4.30pm. This wasnt the end of the hopeless service, we sat and sat for another 20mins without having our order taken. One of us went and got the Asst Mngr in order to have our order taken. The food arrived after a loooong time. During all this, although we had three kids with us 5,7 and 8, the balloon making guy kept going past our table egnoring the kids. Again, one of the mothers had to ask to get him to come and do the job he is there to do. This was one of the longest and most terrible experiences we have ever had at a restaurant, the kids were tired and fed up, our guests had enough and we ended up embarrassed and sorry for having gone there. When we put our concern to the Manager all we got was that they really cant help it when the restaurant is busy. no proper apologies or even an offer of a discount what so ever. We spent £100 upstairs while waiting and £300 downstairs on food. I am so angry having wasted my sunday waiting for incompetent people in charge of a job so simple. I will definitely be taking my complaint further.

Really worth visiting. A friend and I went for an after-work dinner here last week and were thoroughly impressed with both the food and service. The atmosphere was perhaps a little quiet, but as we were dining some time before 6pm this hardly mattered. Overall, fantastic for food and a suitable restaurant for professionals and families alike.
