After seeing Chapter Two Restaurant on BBC1 "The Tower" we booked a table on a busy Saturday night, you will not be dissapointed, well balanced menu with a chocolate fondant to die for, big praise the Chef and his team, Service was great which there was a good presence of the Manager on duty who ran the service to a fine art, keeping a close eye on all aspects of the evening, which is a rare sight these days where most work from the desk or back office. well done to all we shall be back very soon.....

The manager and staff at Chapter Two are second to none. We had been there twice when they started calling us "regulars" and they have always ensured we received the best table or fiitted us in at late notice. Compared to the other two quality restaurants in Blackheath Village, Chapter Two are better value for money, have michelin quality food and have exceptional service. Do yourself a favour, go.

Went here once with my girlfriend and we were both very impressed. A bit pricey but food was superb, staff knew what they were doing and we really enjoyed the experience. Lovely place to go for a treat or special occasion.

just great. i already submitted a review but thought i'd send this anyway. My partner and I had the best time just after our baby was born last year. I hadn't been out for months so what a treat!!. Lovely, professional waiters who are discreet. That really works for us 'cos whilst we love food we're still learning so it's great not to feel out of place. We loved it and still tell our friends what a great evening we had. In fact, it was such a lovely romantic time it could easily have led to baby number two (but we were too tired!!!). We're going there tomorrow night nearly a year on and we can't wait.

Had a really good meal with an excellent bottle of wine. Very good value and we thought the service was just the right balance, attentive but giving space and time as we needed. The food is slightly complicated but very well balanced. We had three courses and came away full. If you are only having two then have the puddings which are truely awe inspiring!

Lovely lunch yesterday and good value. Good welcome, but then slighty stiff waiter. Should learn to smile. Food great though. Agree Honeycomb ice cream and banana mouse was very good. Not a bit like a banana split!

I just had a great Sunday lunch here to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had three courses and a decent bottle of wine, with the usual bread and water, and it came in at under £75. I consider that value for money, given the quality of the food and service.
The dishes were stylish and, whilst the portion sizes were modest, we were grateful for that when we reached the dessert menu. I had honeycomb icecream and banana mousse and it was spectacular - one of the best desserts I've ever had in a restaurant.
When I asked about the recommended wine "of the week", after checking our taste, the waiter recommended a wonderful Sauvignon Blanc instead. We didn't feel pressured at all; the service was excellent.

I organised a xmas do at Chapter Two for my department after reading all the rave reviews and was bitterly disappointed. the food was only so so. the atmosphere was lacking and the waiters were not that helpful either. all in all , an extremely disappointing experience. i am now extremely wary of all these reviews.
