Poor, could do much better! I was very disappointed when going there with family and friends to see average food and unacceptable service. We were the only people in the whole restaurant and we still didn't get served altogether and there was only 7 of us!
What would they do if they had a full restaurant? Wouldn't recommend it and certainly won't go again.

Popped into Utsav one night on a spur of the moment decision to have some Indian food. My wife and I decided to skip starters and go right for mains. Unfortunately that meant "eating" imaginary starters because the mains took 35 minutes to come out. The waiters feel their only job is to deliver food. Never asking how the meal is? Would you like anything else? We had to wait a long time for cutlery. It's a real diservice to the chef because the food was fantastic. We had vegetarian dishes - Daal, Palak Paneer, and Okra. It was delicious. The carrot dessert was a great way to end the evening but we had to flag down the waiter to finally place our order. When the bill came I asked the waiter to take off the automatic gratuity. It must be a pretty common occurrence because they didn't debate it or even ask why. The couple next to us overheard my request and the wife told her husband to do the same. Come on guys - you're letting the chef down!

I went to this restaurant as it was dead opposite the Royal Garden Hotel in which we were staying and thought one night, why not? We had been to Gordan Ramsays restaurant the night before and wanted to leave that experience aside for one moment (hard as it was, gorgeous food) and go in with a open mind. We have had more than lots of experience eating indian food and this restaurant although not big and wasnt full, catered for your every indian cuisine needs and provided well cooked chicken and lamb dishes including pakora, lamb byriani, dhal, tikka and many more which we tried. Overall a nice experience but the staff were a little cold in the service and walked away when serving the food never to come back and ask how the food is and to be honest I dont really think they cared. But we didnt really go for the waiters attention, we went to eat. Not the best meal we have had, but certainly no the worst. An average experience, which has been beaten in our local town of Bedford, and would we go again? well, there are many indian restaurants we havent been to, we`ll go to them next time.
