I've worked round here (Market Place) for about 1 year, and only just found Pho.., and though I'm overjoyed that I've discovered this absolute gem of a cafe, I'm very annoyed that I've only just found it!

If you are unaccustomed to this style of supercharged eating experience, then you might be put off (though you shouldn't! it's great fun!), but if you love a lively venue that serves up a fast and furious lunch with whirlwind waiters and a constantly cool atmosphere then you must get in here. Brought me back to traveling in Asia.... with a London twist.

You'll be seated very close to your neighbours, and you'll be served by everyone that works there at some point, which I love watching.. I don't know how they all know what each other are doing in all the madness, but it's fantastic! They always make sure you've got everything you need.

The food is just to die for... Seriously, close your eyes, and just point at the menu. I really don't know where to start. You can't go wrong. It really is all so delicious...

I've been dragging all my clients and work mates here for the past few weeks. Can't get enough! :)

Popped in here for lunch with my lovely wife a few weeks ago and we had a pretty good meal. I wouldn't say it was enormously memorable but we enjoyed it. The food in Pho is very fragrant and fresh tasting though I personally prefer oriental food with a bit more oompff! It's not the most attractive site in the world, very functional like our favourite "Ramen Seto". Service was organised and the focus is on turning tables. It got very busy at lunchtime which gave it a nice buzz. I did enjoy the Vietnamese beer I had. The bill was reasonable but not cheaper than any other no thrills eatery. All in all it does a good functional lunch. My wife is a bigger fan than I!

i love this place and the beef pho is amazing. Having spent several months travelling around Vietnam I would say that this is the sort of pho you get on most street corners and I agree its not like the watery unnatural pho in places like Song Que but don't be fooled that anything up Kingsland road is like it actually is in Vietnam! If you want to taste fresh homemade pho then this is place to go. Service is a bit unpredictable but the place has queues out the doors and the friendly staff are genuinely trying really hard to keep everyone happy. definately recommend it

The service in this restaurant is good. Friendly and nice servers. The food itself was terrible. My friend and I were definitely not impressed with their cooking. We ordered the green mango for starter and spicy beef brisket and thinly sliced beef noodles for the main. They were all totally tasteless. Their soup tasted like water than beef broth. We had to add a lot of fish sauce just to have "some" flavour.

The price is good; however, we defintely will not be going back as the food doesn't give justice to authentic vietnamese food.

I've been here twice now, and while it's not the best place for genuine Vietnamese flavours, it's okay for a quick dinner option. The bun noodles with lemongrass beef are pretty good if you don't compare it to a proper Vietnamese version. But unfortunately, the service on our last visit was so bad that we're unlikely to return to this branch. It fact, it was so bad that a manager came over and promised to take some money off the bill, and then when the bill came it was still the full price! There's too many nice options around Fitzrovia/Soho to bother again with a place so sloppy with service. I'll eat at the Westfield branch again, but only because I'm not relying on their waiters.

I concur with previous reviewer's comment that those who given rave write-ups must be unfamiliar with real Vietnamese food. The eponymous soup noodles were bland and insipid. Not even a hint of the depth and complexity in the broth which truly sets this dish apart. To those who have enjoyed the food at this restaurant, I would strongly recommend a trip over to Kingsland Road or Deptford High Street. I can guarantee that after a taste of 'real pho', you will never go back.

Terrible- for a restaurant ironically called Pho, their pho was the blandest dullest bowl of noodles I've had in a long time. As a native South East Asian foodie I just cannot fathom why people are giving it good reviews, am guessing none of them have ever tried REAL Vietnamese food (which may explain why the place was packed with a completely Caucasian crowd and not a single Vietnamese, Chinese or any other Asian in sight when we went)!

Other than the starter of pork lemongrass meatballs which was decent, this experience was a total waste of money. My advice is to stick to Little Hanoi on Curtain Road -THAT is what authentic pho is supposed to taste like, and it's cheaper too!

The chain serves good, clean, crisp noodles + other dishes. Generally good place to eat. However, I do agree with other reviewers that the PHO + BUN noodle dishes aren't as authentic as they should be. It's to do with the stock lacking in flavour. The food is catered for more 'western' palette. Still a decent place to eat, but if the prices go up I'd prefer to eat at proper Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Road.

Hands down my number one at the moment. I LOVE Pho.

I think it's an addiction, but what a great addiction to have - utterly good for you!

Be there, or be....
