Sorry guys - i was so disappointed with this restaurant, especially after having gone through some of the good reviews here.
poor quality of food -poor presentation - poor ambience....the only tapas i liked was Chorizo, the rest of the dishes were poor, i'm not spanish ....but again i'm a huge fan of spanish cuisine, dont waste your money here guys even if reviews say its cheap food, not worth the money you pay.
I haven been to couple of spanish restaurants so far (dont want to name them)- Docklands -Covent Garden-Portsmouth-Liverpool and all these restaurants have met my expectations.

Went to El Cantara last night and having read the previous review wasn't sure what to expect, however I was pleasantly suprised, the food was excellent especially the Tagines (both Lamb and Chicken)!!!
Atmosphere and service were fantastic would definitely recommend

Tagine was dry and expensive for its size. Atmosphere and service was great, but don't expect any gastronomical delights.

Went here on the offer but looking at the menu it already had some good offers in place anyway. Tapas was pretty good, good service and a belly dancer, plus nice staff, definitely a venue to head for. Has Moroccan beer, which was worth trying just because you can't find it elsewhere!

I took my sales team to dinner last night, group of ten...
El Cantara is a fantastic place... A warm welcoming atmosphere and very accomodating to it's customers - good staff (always smiling)
Very good starters... lots of flavours, Main courses were very filling and amazing deserts. The Chocolate Fondant is a must!!!
Overall - really good value for money. Will be going back soon.

Loved this place! good mood food. in a great atmosphere overlooking the busy streets of Soho. We were on our way to theatre so popped to the nearest place and found El Cantara which was right next to ronnie scotts jazz club,The staff were friendly and made sure we made our show on time. We cant wait to go back!! Thanks very much to all the staff there.
