Being a rare visitor to Whetstone, I was glad to stumble upon this restaurant. The decor is very inviting, with lots of partitions to give added privacy. It can be quite crowded, which I'll take as an indicator of its popularity. Service is a bit changeable, depending on how busy they are. But it's generally very good and one is never kept waiting long.

You need to be careful what you order here. Some things they do very well. Others not so well. I imagine we all have our favourites, but sometimes food can err on the side of blandness.

The bill is reasonable. More or less what you'd expect. Although for a good spot in Whetstone, it's probably fair to mark it down as quite good.

Live locally and regularly (and one point weekly) vist this restaurant. Does get busy and at times service can be patchy but never had any major problems.

Extensive menu and despite what some have said a lot of meals are cooked from frozen (well at those prices what do you expect) but if you navigate the menu you can still have some very nice dishes.

Excellent and reasonable wine list and nice buzzy atmosphere.

We had avoided this place for a few years as the service was so unfriendly and hostile. However recently I braved it again and had a very pleasant experience which promted us to go for Christmas lunch and we had a wonderful time. There was a wide choice of dishes and our table of 8 pretty much each chose a different dish. All were beautifully cooked and the vegetables delicous and still crunchy!!! The place was packed, we were on the second sitting but the service was good and smiley - despite them teling us that half the staff hadn't turned up. Even one of the chefs was waiting tables.

Generally the food is of a very good standard, the menu is large and has a good choice of things other than pizza or pasta. The prices are very reasonable, and now the service is great. The restaurant always has a buzz about it, and it really offers good value. Throughly recommend it.
