I went there for lunch. When asking for a burger I asked the waiter to have it medium rare and he said that they have a new chef policy and they only serve the burgers well done. I have been there 2-3 times and I have never been told that (more than that that could be the most s!lly policy ever heard).

I did not believe this was true, so I asked 2 times and the same chap said the same, his answer was that that’s the way it is, no more reason than that.

I say ok…. But the burger was not fresh and burned (the taste was not fresh, as I can compare as I have been there before).

I have left a comment on Marco's web and I am waiting for an answer.

Coming back no way... I do not even want them to give me a voucher or anything; they should close the place (that is my new policy, get what you give)

I hope someone in Selfridges reads this and do something!!!

We have often visited the Selfridges branch of Frankies and found it to be excellent. The staff have always been cheerful and especially helpful to my wheelchair-user husband. We have only to glance at a waiter to have them attend immediately to any request - we would recommend this charming place without hesitation.

As a regular eater at Frankie's Chiswick I know what to expect from this chain - good quick food, value and good service. However, we made the great mistake of thinking we could expect the same in Frankie's Selfridges.

The chicken we had was stiff and dry like cardboard and the vegetables simply appalling. Even worse was the surly "couldn't care less" attitude of the staff who obviously have never used the words please or thank you. As my partner said "this is the first time in the last five years, we will not leave a tip"

Frankie's website has the opportunity to contact them by email, I did and didn't even get a response. I think this says everything about their customer service.
