IN my opinion (and quite a few freinds) this is the crown jewel of Hampton/Kingston area's restaurants. This husband and wife team have got food and service to a fine art. If you are looking for good quality food, beautifully cooked with an unpretentious atmosphere here is the place to eat. I had a party of 14 for my birthday last November and all the food was truly excellent.

Nice ambience, menu, winelist and accordionist.
Some of our meals were great, some lacking. Avoid prawns provencale as a main course as it was marginally larger than the starter and had no accompaniment.
Also, the creme brulee was a quarter of an inch deep - when I pointed it out, the waiter just laughed! By contrast, profiteroles came in giant portions!
