Did not enjoy the experience here at all. Even though we were practically the first diners there (for a pre theatre meal) we were given a table virtually in the reception area. There was no warm welcome at all. In fact when we arrived earlier than our booking we were told we couldn't have a drink at the bar and to come back in 15 minutes! The service was rushed, sullen and uncomfortable. The food was ok but marred by the surly service and the feeling that they wanted us out as quickly as possible. We would have been in and out in less than an hour if we hadn't asked for a few more moments with the menu and another glass of wine to finish the meal. Really awful place.

Visited the Thai Square on a saturday evening and the service was very poor and the restaurant lacked any atmosphere. We waited over an hour and a half for our starters and even then only half of them turned up. Was a shame as the food was good and great for sharing. Staff questioned us when we decided not to leave the full 15% tip requested.

Visited the Thai Square last night and had the pre-theatre menu. Food was delicious, service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Had a really good time and would definitely go back again.

I have been Thai Square Covent Garden many times. They just modified their menu. it is much better, cheaper and for me, more happy. There are beautiful grand piano but unfortunately no player is on Monday but piano music background anyway. What I wanna tell you is "Thai Square Covent Garden is worth to visit".

Well...what can I say? The service, initially was very good. A friend and I went during lunch time so it wasn't busy. We had four people fussing over us which became annoying because we didn't have time to discuss what we wanted due to be being bothered so many times. The food got cold quickly and very small portions, both the starter and the main course. Whilst eating each of the four people serving us kept asking us how everything was, we asked for some red thai curry sauce on the side and it was a bit of a problem as there was a bit of a language barrier and a fifth person had to be called.
When it came to paying for the meal we did not leave tips as we both work in the food service industry and felt that the fussing was too much and the food at the thai square in islington was much better. The whole team on that shift stood and talked for about 3mins before they gave us our receipt then one of the members came over and said 'why didn't you leave me a tip?' I could have understood if he had said something like 'was there a problem with the service?' then that would have been different. I told the man we were served by five people and the food was not that great. This was a problem for him as he continued to ask 'why?' Go to Thai Square in Angel Islington!

Atmosphere was ok, but the food goes cold really quickly and it wasn’t great, definitely not value for money. Had better and less expensive else where.

At first glance, we decided this looked and felt like an almost fantastic atmosphere to tone down after a busy evening. The service was professional, friendly and polite quite like being in Thailand.
Despite the Tom Yum Prawn being excellent, very small in portion. I counted the waitresses attempting to empty my beer bottle 9 times in 30 mins. My girlfriend was furious, which I found quite funny, so I put the alcohol an arms distance too far from the service staff.
£60 for 1x starter and 1x main, 2 buds and a mango juice. I have tasted better egg fried rice at the 5.50 buffet thai in hemel hempstead, which I intend to visit far more often after this poor experience.
Whether we were unlucky or not, I felt ashamed and was grateful to have had such a lovely partner.
