I read the not-British enough review with bemusement. Having lived nearby now for over ten years, it's a refreshing change to get a restaurant that's not part of some large chain nor covering the same old pizza, pasta, curry, thai role of all the other places. And from my visits to Season's I've always understood the rationale to be local sourcing, whether British or mainland European, and seasonal, rather than food draped in union jacks and yorkshire puds.
I've also watched restaurants come and go in the area with only the larger chains able to weather the tough climate. There's a great new crop of independents in the area now and I wish them all the best. Season's is a great addition to Ravenscourt Park and I recommend their scallops, mussels and goats cheese terrine to anyone who isn't looking for bath chaps (whatever they are) and the like. Keep up the good work in a sometimes harsh and unforgiving economic and critical climate Season's!! We love your garnishes even if mister not-British enough doesn't ...

Had dinner at Seasons with a friend on saturday night, We book by Top-Table site where the restaurant have consistently good review and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was great, the staff smiley and friendly. Service was prompt. Wine list was extensive. Meal itself was top quality. I don’t like medium rare meat but decided to go for it and was surprised at how much I liked it. So top scores from me and will definitely be taking my new girlfriend there

My husband and I have eaten at Seasons countless of time and believe me if I say we have eaten in most of the top establishments in and around London.
Seasons to us means good food at a reasonable price and the menu change often enough to keep us coming back. I read the review from the gentleman that said it is not a British restaurant, well I had smoked salmon ,steak and oyster pie and a sticky toffee pudding, can get more British than that!?Without mentioning the English wine and the London beer that they offer, frankly if you go on that mind-set to a local family run restaurant ,Seasons was most certainly not for you, maybe try to stick to your local Fish and chips shop for a “real British” experience!

Visited Seasons on Thursday evening, very quiet. Service was fine, but have to agree with Thomas below, food was distinctly below par. Prices were reasonable though

Had a completely different experience at Seasons from the review below. I dined here on Tuesday night and the food and the service were both lovely.
The staff were friendly, chatty and knowledgeable about the food.
I thought that the menu had plenty of choice and the portions were generous. I can highly recommend this restaurant and its excellent cheeseboard for a relaxed and enjoyable meal

I'm sorry, am I missing something here? I was dragged by a friend to eat here on Friday after she had read many reviews on london-eating describing Seasons as having a modern british menu, discreet service (as it mentions on this site more times than deems necessary) and a wonderful, intimate atmosphere.
Firstly, it was empty. Secondly the food was certainly not the modern british fayre i was expecting, since when were mussels "oriental style" British? Where was the picallilli? Where were the Bath chaps? Where were the hotpots? Why was everything drizzled in balsamic syrup and presented with inedible garnishes and fripperies? How fresh was the food when you see the size of the 4 or 5 different menus and the apparent lack of trade?
Service was indeed discreet, if by discreet you mean non existent. I don't mean to witter on, but when you read the reviews here, and what you actually get at the restaurant is completely the opposite, then you begin to question the validity of all of these reviews.

I took my Dad here for his birthday on Saturday and we both enjoyed a lovely lunch. I have dined at this restaurant twice before, but this was a first for lunch and would say it is great value! I started with mussels, we both had sea bream and finished with the cheese board. The food was divine. The service was lovely. Am looking forward to returning!

My favourite restaurant over many years having closed down recently because the owner decided to retire, I had been visiting a number of venues new to me and was invited this week to Seasons Dining Room. It proved to be a gem. Opened some 18 months ago it retains a freshness yet has the apparent maturity of a family owned establishment which is no doubt due to the experienced chef, Diego. The al fresco tables at the entrance are welcoming and the clean linen and decoration, including a small Champagne display, delight the eye. Getting my priorities right, I found the wine list extensive and wide ranging for a small establishment with items at most reasonable prices. The menu was unusual; although the chef is Venetian, he has created a varying, balanced “British” menu, including delicious items which are rarely found, and all based on really fresh ingredients. The cooking was excellent and my only fear for the future would be that one or more of the better known critics will make the place so popular that the owners will sell out to a chain and this marvellous “find” (for me) will simply disappear, something which happened to me before. The service was discreet and professional, the room comfortable with low-volume background music enabling quiet and private conversation. If it was in the West End it would probably be packed with diners. Ten stops from Piccadilly, two minutes from Ravenscourt Park station and with five bus routes right outside the door, it is easily found and deserves to be a great success.

GREAT EXPERIENCE. I went to Seasons last Thursday with my wife and had the most amazing experience. We took the set menu and everything was so delicious. A real tribute to the autumn season. (They change every week and use seasonal ingredients). The food was really nicely displayed and so tasteful. We tried different wines by the glass recommended for each dish and they fitted perfectly.
I keep thinking about the beetroot and goat cheese salad and the unusual but delicious cestnut cake for desert. The price for 3 dishes (£12.95) is more than reasonable for a restaurant in west London.
The service was really efficient and friendly and the atmosphere very romantic.
A perfect diner in a perfect restaurant!!!
I feel I want to come back every week and try the new menu
