The welcome is genuine and the service is excellent I went with four friends who all had different things off the menu and as it would take to long to go through them all, I will only talk about what I had.

For starters I had the Potted Brown Shrimp and home made bread which was very tasty as proved by the fact that everybody else sampled mine.

For my main course I had the Chargrilled 31 day hung Ribeye Organic Steak with handcut chips and a spring leaf salad and horseraddish sauce how can I tell you about this well you know when you smell a steak cooking and it smells delicious but when its served its dissapointing well not in this case the meat is tender and full of flavour.

For a pudding I went back to my childhood summers with a knickerbocker Glory

made with fresh ice cream and strawberries Yummy

To sum up None of our crowd had single complaint which is almost unheard of.

I would like to keep this little treasure a secret but word will get around even without my help so try it now while it is reletivley unknown and before you have to book ages in advance.

I took my mother here for lunch. We were both very impressed by the food which was delicious, the friendly but discreet service, the decor and the relaxed atmosphere. The portions were also very generous, unlike some London restaurants whose portions are disappointingly miniscule, and disappointingly expensive. It's nice to find a quality local restaurant. I'll definitely be dining here again.

Popped in for a quick lunch in this lovely new restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the speed and quality of food/service. The moules marinieres were just perfect and the portion generous; the bread, freshly baked, was very tasty and the service friendly and efficient. All at a very reasonable price (special express lunch menu £8.00). I would highly recommend it to anyone who works in the area, it will definitely become one of my regular lunch spot.

i cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, I had the Roasted Beetroot and Goats salad starter, the spring Welsh Lamb for main and to finish with the delicious Lemon sponge with Strawberries. The atmosphere complimented the food, the welsh lamb was so tender it melted on the tongue. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and going again.

I loved our lazy Sunday brunch here: a table outside on the wide pavement of this quieter part of King Street, the colourful decor, and the attentive service. The portions were generous and the homemade bread was good. We tasted a range of egg dishes and omelettes, and the children had no complaints! The variety is great, so much so that we've been again in the evening since! And we got a complimentary glass of Prosecco, so even more to like about this place. It's exactly what Hammersmith and Chiswick has been crying out for: a discreet, independent and classy eaterie that's packs the substance as well as the style. The food is modern and seasonal, and I thoroughly recommend this new addition to our local restaurant scene.

Had a dinner 2 days a go and it was just superb.

A wooden board of good quality bread with a dish of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, which we devoured whilst choosing our starters and mains.

We asked our waiter for some suggestions and he was absolutely correct on all of them. The Crispy Duck Salad brought as lightly crisp portion of duck in a good salad of shredded french beans with sliced black plum and pomegranate and hazelnut dressing, which gave a nice sweet dimension, contrasting well with the salty of the duck. This was a fresh and interesting combination, which worked well together. We had the Chateaubraind for two (which I had on an early occasion and was delicious), served with hand cut chips and spicy English spinach, it was savory and gorgeous.

Very nice vibe for a sunny Sunday and the wine was perfect. The atmosphere & ambience made for a romantic evening, the service was impeccable, our waiter was attentive & chatty, but also knew when it was time to bring out our next course.

Serius British cooking that different from the norm I am sure will create a quite foodie reputation for this Dining room Hammersmith Spot.
