The College Arms

Great ambiance. Minimalist decor incorporated successfully into traditional building. Good selection of food on a menu tailored to a local pub i.e. not too ambitious or extensive but individual dishes tasty and well presented and sufficiently interesting to warrant a return visit.

The cheese board is extremely generous perhaps too much so for an individual serving.

The staff are both attentive and friendly and the service prompt. Tap water available on request also well presented with ice and lemon. An establishment that cares about such a simple thing is worth recommending.
