Having chanced upon this place I am a regular visitor now. The Lamb chops are the best I've tasted anywhere, very tender and cooked just right.
Another reason I go there, and take everyone there, is the service which is friendly, warm, and down to earth.
The decor has been given special attention to and the artwork adorning the walls is modern indian atits best representing just what ZanZiBar has acheived.
Please do try it

An unusual place - a mix between a pub and a sprawling Indian restaurant. It is a very lively place with a great family atmosphere. The decor is bright and breezy in a modern tropical style - nice eastern-style lightsand lots of big plants.
There is a main drinking area at the front and restauranty bits at the back.
Good choice of Food at a reasonable price.
MY FAVORITE PLACE IN TOWN NOT TO BE MISSED.........

This is my absolute favourite Indian restaurant, ever!! Yes, I agree, it is a little more expensive than your average after the pub curry house, BUT, this is a very different restaurant to that. Everything that I have eaten here, I have loved! The best lamb somosas!! If you haven't been, GIVE IT A TRY!! You'll be impressed!

I have just been to zanzibar in edgware, the place and the food is out of this world. Infact, they have just redecorated the premisis aswell. It is looking marvelous and much better than before.
The staff is also very very good.
Keep it up.
You are leading the way by miles.

We've just been there on monday 23rd of April 2006 and the food was very very nice again. It had been a bit too salty at times in the past. About the place looking 'grubby' no need to worry about that anymore, it's totally refurbished and looking nice and bright ! Yes a tad expensive, we had a bill of £45, for two, one starter, some papadoms, two mains, two beers, two wines... Still one of the nicest "curries" around the Harrow area I find.

We have been regulars here for some time now and seen the prices going up.
Last Friday we had a meal for 2 - 4 beers, 2 starters and 2 main course with 2 nans - cost is £46.00. In my opinion this is at the expensive end, not a place you go for a quick curry. Also the place is looking grubby and needs a fresjh coat of paint. Smartn up and redcue the prices.
