This resturant is well designed and has a real authentic arabic feel about it.
The staff are all from the middle east and know what they are serving. The tenderness of the lamb and the flavours of the salads are truly special.
Great location as its only a five minute walk from the tube in Knightsbridge.

I went to Ishbilia (which is the correct spelling) with a friend last Saturday night. The place was pretty packed, primarily with Lebanese customers, which is always a good sign.
The menu is extensive and the food was delicious. The grilled meat was tender and succulent. We ordered a bottle of the Lebanese wine and it did not disappoint.
We were given desert on the house, and again this was delicious (and not as overly sweet as you expect North African sweets to be).
Overall, well worth the visit.

The food is very good, although a little oily at time. It is still the best Lebanese food I have had in London. The service was a mediocre.

We visitied the restaurant durimg a visit to London after reading reviews here. We visited on a Staurday evening, around 1800 when it was relatively empty.
What a shock, unfriendly staff, awful service, half the menu not available. Add to this £2.00 to sit down and £3.00 for tap water in an Evian bottle!
Also note - it is a smoking reataurant with no segregation for non smokers.
We may have been unlucky, but we will certainly not return.

We have experienced this Lebanese restaurant last week for the first time. When we arrive, we thought it was a bit of a small place, like we were a bit crammed. For a Monday, that place was full...so a good sign. And we were not disappointed. We took some mezze to share and everything was excellent. Some mezze I haven’t tried before like Fish Roe with garlic. The usual mezze (aubergine caviar, hummus, …) were very good quality. The 5 of us did manage to finish everything but we struggle a bit as portions are generous. We have also drunk a lot of arak, the national aniseed alcohol drink in Lebanon. Overall, highly recommended restaurant if you want to eat the real thing.

I eat here when i have the chance. The food here is the best authentic lebanese in london in my opinion. Mezze is served how it should be and you get that mother-cooked feeling. Overall the food is scrumtious and mouth watering and i love the complimentary raw vegetables they give before the meal, it really soothes the pallette.
Go here when you can!

The wonderfully authetic Lebanese mezzes complemented by friendly staff make this a must for those who love their middle-eastern/mediterranean cuisine. Well worth a trip!
