Simple...

Go Malibu club, regency or spice rack if you want really good food.

Avoid this place, the food is awful and overpriced.

Don't waste your time or money on this restaurant.

We went at the weekend with our 2 young children and parents. I called to book a table but when we arrived, there was no record of the booking. We were ultimately seated in the bar under a speaker since the restaurant was full. Not pleasant.

4/5 of the starters took 50 mins to arrive. They were cold and unappetising to say the least. My son fell asleep while waiting so had no dinner. The last starter arrived just before our mains arrived - almost 2 hours after we arrived! Ridiculous.

The mains had to be sent back as they were cold.

The waiters were being bombarded by complaints all evening and were unresponsive to customers, almost as though this treatment is a given.

The prices are very high. How this place can charge these prices when the customers are treated in this way is beyond me. As a precious reviewer stated - what arrogance.

We eat out very frequently and will be avoiding this place in future without any doubt.

Went here last night for a birthday dinner. Service was ok although we had to ask 4 times until they brought water to our table. there were a lot of waiters and they didn't seem to communicate with other as they all kept interupting us asking if we wanted anything even if we had just ordered.

Deco is pretty plush and tacky and the food is massively overpriced. Food was ok, but nothing special and certainly not worth the amount we paid. I don't think they are worried about repeat custom as for a restaurant which is trying to postion itself at the higher end of the market, the service didn't match. Our group of 10 spent close to £400 and the waiter didn't even comp us any after dinner drinks, or dessert or even a free mint with the bill. Ridiculous! certainly won't be back as the service is substandard and the establishment is arrogant!

The food was all good, takes about half an hour to get the food and to receive the drinks. There are plenty of waiters around but none seem to want to serve you. Definitely the longest I've been in a restaurant.

One of the best places in London, yes they take their time (because everything is freshly made) , and yes they waiters do take time to take orders and bring drinks. Its simply because Abercorn after a £3million re-fit is still finding its feet and it will take another 3 months to sort out. We dine there before re-fit and after. The food is brillaint and can't be faulted. You can't compare regency or spice rack to this place as its a "Fine dining" restaurant / bar. They will improve and the mangements do know their faults and had listen and will take this all on. I take clients there and family and have spend over £3K since its opened . If you had a bad time here, come back in 6 months and see the difference. Whenever I had a issue I have told the staff and they have listen.

Went yesterday evening which was a Saturday. My husband and I had high hopes but unfortunately they were soon to be dashed.

There seemed to be waiters everywhere however they did not seem to be doing an awful lot.

We ordered our drinks as soon as we sat down and they came pretty swiftly.

We then ordered our starters, there was a miscommunication as a dish arrived that we had not ordered however on pointing this out to the waiter he seemed most put out and in the end we kept the dish - which was not great!

We ordered our main dish, but none of the dishes were talked through with us. My dish was due to be served with potatoes, but came without. I told the waiter who then removed the dish only to serve it about 10 minutes later with what looked like a few boiled potatos scattered on top of the dish. By this stage I was no longer hungry so ended up not eating it.

To be honest I could not wait to leave the restaurant, I can honestly say that it was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I have ever had.

We found it very expensive for what it was and as a result of the mishap with the unordered starter we did not leave service charge.

My husband is a little more objective and has said he may return there for a "boys" curry however I will never go there again.

There are far better regular Curry Houses in that area, which are cheaper - my advice is go to one of those!

Went last night - Saturday- and it was pretty busy. Decor and ambience was very good and surprisingly also the cocktails - but only one person knows how to make them, so for our second order we had to wait for 20mins, until he could be found. Naturally we weren't told this until we asked were our drinks were. Its very noisy in there, very dark- you can hardly read the menu and , portions are small to mean, but food not bad, although we didn't like our main dish. The chicken was rubbery/wet/soft, very strange sensation- horrible. I think its very expensive;- we shared 2 starters, 1 main, 1 (plain) rice and 2 (plain) naan £34. As seems to be usual in these Indian clubs , there were hoards of waiters doing nothing but following each other around, and yet the service was chaotic and ineffiecient. We spoke to the Manager, who is arrogantly informed us that as far as he is concerned the staff are wonderful/effeicient and the place is full which is testatment to this! We are unlikely to return, there aren't enough good points- if you want a decent Indian, reasonable prices, great ambience go to Regency in Queensbury.

Noisey, interrupted by different waiters every 5 minutes, food dishes are pricey, came out with a headache.

Sorry won't be going back.

Went there again last night for drinks and late night snacks around 10pm on a saturday night. Again fabulous service, lovely ambience, cool venue, decent crowd and fabulous food, The paneer tikka was flavoursome and tender throughout. Going to be a regular there despite it being an hours drive from my place.
