I really wanted this place to be good. I'm a local and was hoping for a decent burger, fries and a beer joint in the neighborhood.
It's not good. I've given them 3 tries now, twice for burgers and once for breakfast and the only thing that I enjoyed was the chili cheese fries. Burgers are dry with a stale bun, our home fries (breakfast) were burnt, like with actual cinders, the bacon undercooked, and the pancakes tasted like the packaged stuff that you get from supermarkets for 99p a pack of 6.
I will admit that our waiter was trying, but was just too busy while what appeared to be 2 managers just hung about the kitchen area chatting.
I've spoken to a number of other locals and hear the same thing. We would all be frequent patrons of the DIner if they could make a decent burger and fries, but they dont seem to care. We'll take our business to Hache or the Grand Union Burger Bar.

I agree with other reviewer. Well, after persuading a number of my work colleagues to try a new venue in Camden we were very disappointed.
The service was very slow, when the food eventually came in fits and starts the fries came first all cold, then the main part followed after a long interval - again not exactly hot. We informed the waitress and she said the kitchen was busy and could cook some more but would have to wait . . .who knew how long? we declined but suggested that the bill reflected this. The waitress sent a manager who came to our table and argued that we should pay service and just accept a discount on the fries, when we pointed out that the service was descretionary she flounced off saying she didn't have to deal with this as the kitchen was busy - basically implying it was our fault we had a bad meal and our group was too large @ 9 people!!! Needless to say I walked by later in the night and she was outside chatting on her mobile. I wouldn't recommend anyone go there - a shame as was willing to give a new venue some custom and would have returned if good!

Went here for impromptu dinner last night after some drinks in the city and off the back of the Evening Standard saying the food was good. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Whilst I'm not expecting haute cuisine, I wasn't expecting the 'fat chips' to be frozen, and the chilli dog to be lukewarm and served in a stupid plastic basket. The chicken burrito of my companion was ok, but with a weird synthetic tang in the aftertaste.
Service was ok, even if the waitress did admit she didn't eat the food on the menu (because she only eats well sourced organic meat apparently - not a ringing endorsement). Not even a decent selection of US beers on the menu. This is almost insulting.
So avoid this place, it reeks of high turnover bog standard stuff. rGo to Hache on Inverness St. instead.
