Suruchi

I think it's time to be fair to Suruchi.

This is a straight up and down Indian restaurant, but one we have returned to every month or so for years. That is a recommendation .

The food is tasty , with some favourite things to eat - I like the onion bhaji and prawn puri starters, and then the prawn sag, and lamb tikka. And at say £30 for 2 with 2 courses, we shouldn't complain about the slightly increased amount of onions over protein in the food.

The staff are very friendly if you make the effort - they remember my name-and they have to cope with the great british public.

Food here is absolutely amazing and they so often send an extra beer or coke with it. Definitely good for take out! Recommend the Lamb tikka bhuna. YUM.

We've been to Suruchi a few times in the past, and where as the food is always nice, the service sucks. And the latest attempt to visit was rubbish - nothing but rude attitude before we'd even sat down, so we decided to go elsewhere. I'd recommend others to do the same.
