We went for Sunday lunch at 3pm. It wasn't too busy upon arrival but there was a steady increase in patrons after we were seated. The soup arrived promptly but was tepid. We didn't complain as we could see the staff were busy with a couple of childrens parties elsewhere in the restaurant. 55 minutes after ordering and 40 minutes after our starter being cleared away I asked our waitress where our main was and pointed out how long we had been waitiing. She replied "Yes, I know". That was it! No explanation. I asked for the mains (two burgers) to be cancelled and for the bill. I kick myself now for not questioning the 12.5% service charge but hindsight's a wonderful thing. No further explanation was forthcoming. The waitress that took our payment tried to crack a joke about her hearing being affected by the number of children screaming and no apology was forthcoming. On our departure, not one of at least 6 staff we passed offered any sort of communication, be it a goodbye or an apology for their inabaility to server two burgers and chips. Sorely disappointed and feeling slightly fleaced.

i was so disappointed with this restaurant, for a number of reasons, they had no wine left (the one i asked for) , no lime for a soda water, over all very average.
i ordered migon, and honestly it was so badly presented, a bit of lettuce cold chips and cold peppercorn sauce , steak was ok but the rest of the meal was so over priced for what you get, honestly i so really upset after bringing my friend out for her birthday and the dinner was just a disaster.

Awful. Our experience here was a total shambles from beginning to en. From awful coffee to forgetting our meals entirely I can't express how disappointed I was. We waited 35 minutes on a very quiet Saturday morning before I asked the waiter where our brunch was...apparently it hadn't even been started. When the food eventually arrived the toast looked as if it had been in the toaster for about 2 seconds; not toasted at all and hardlyeven warm! . There was no butter on the toast and none provided for us to spread. The scrambled eggs came alone, without even a piece of parsley to make it look appetising. My Eggs Benedict managed to be overcooked and cold at the same time and was swamped in tart vinegar sauce they purported to be hollandaise! I would have sent it back if I could be bothered waiting another hour. After all of this they had the nerve to apply a 12.5% service charge which we promptly asked them to remove... Finally it took the waiter 20 minutes to bring the bill and in the end their card machine wouldn't work for another 10 minutes. This really was an awful dining experience.

Good, tasty, simple American style food - burgers, milkshake etc. The Saturday we went they provided face painting for children. Friendly and attentive service.
