Wow. What an underwhelming restaurant. I booked a table for 6:30pm and the restaurant was very quiet, yet they placed my table of two next to a table of 4 even though the entire restaurant was empty.
The waitress was extremely rude - gave me the menus, walked off without telling me the specials on the board behind me, and when we were still sitting at the table chatting at 8:30pm, she told us 'you have to leave now as i need your table' - even though there were empty tables around us! We were not told at the beginning of the meal that the booking was for only 2 hours.
The seafood/fish is fresh - we both had seafood linguine - it was unseasoned and the seafood pieces were cut up small so it wasn't impressive looking at all. I had expected there to be prawns and mussels piled on top to entice you to eat it! Alas, that is not the case.
There are plenty of better places in London Bridge to dine at.

Very very good. Amazing fresh food and great service. Been here with both big party and small and always been as spectacular as expected!
Just remember if you get the fish platter you may not have room for starter or desert (which you need to have tries of).
WELL DONE!
Also saw Caroline Quentin there.

Why no reviews for the past 18 months? I've regularly passed Applebee's while visiting Borough Market but have just made my first evening visit for a meal. A rather cramped dining area attached to a wet fish shop takes a slight edge off the ambience but is of course also a source of the restaurant's strength. Ingredients couldn't be better and everything we tried from the 100% seafood menu was exemplary.
All the staff we encountered were welcoming and helpful.
Presumably because of the limited overall space, tables are too close together and the tables for two look tiny (a common restaurant fault), but all three who shared this dining experience would be very happy to return ay any time.
