Nile Ethiopian Restaurant

This restaurant has great food,i have been going for years,new owners are not as good as the old but food is tasty.

Unfortunately service is unsatisfactory considering numerous mistakes in food,such as adding no salt and having to ask beforehand,quite bizzare! this has been on several occasions. Management is not as good also as previous,and have not cared enough for my custom and not dealt with their mistakes with fairness.

It is big down fall as this restaurant makes lovely food,BUT you will not be sure if you will have trouble with your food order.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was about 5 (im now 18) with my mum. The food is delicious it is my all time favourite and the best Ethiopian restaurant in London.

For a sincerely warm welcome, deliciously tasty food and relaxed atmosphere I cannot recommend The Nile high enough. Not having experienced Ethiopian cuisine before, we were advised by the lovely owner to try a meat and vegetable combo in order to try lots of different things...it was great advice! we left feeling well nourished and hughly satisfied.

Other reviews comment on the decor - I would like to add that it is simply decorated, bright and clean, leaving the main stars of the show to shine...the great food and the genuinely warm welcome! We will return!

What a great place this is! Food is simply amazing! Every time we go we know we won't be disappointed! Owner is very nice and attentive. We've been trying loads of different dishes over the past two years and we can highly recommend Kitfo, Zighini' and Gulash. Perfect place also if you're vegetarian as the menu offers a great range of vegetables. Decor could be improved (maybe make it cosier and more "traditional") but the food will make it up for it! So, don't be put off by the lack of customers, instead go and have a try! You will love it!

actually I went with a friend who told me to vist a new one but it was an old one run by new owner the new owner make things perfect coz most ethiopian restaurant interior décor isnt that much but it looks good and the food I never taste such a tasty except in my moms homes I recomands for those who lost the real thing and for the owner who knows restaurant in London should have to see that without beer and wine it is impossible keep up the good food thumbs up
