La Barbe

I had a wonderful evening here last week, it was my birthday and I was made to feel so special! The staff were extremley friendly and very attentive, (I even got sang to by all the staff!). The food was delicious! I started with the Tiger prawns and ginger stir-fry served with an avocado and mango salsa, which was devine. For the main I had calves liver with caramelised onions and garlic mash, which was cooked to perfection!! I had the cheese trolley for dessert (they should have left it at the table!) which was heaven, if you love cheese and want a big selection, then this is the place! The portions were very generous and I felt very satisfied when I left. It was a perfect evening!
