Brilliant, loved it. Hasn't lost anything in getting rid of the fat of traditional curries except heartburn and indegestion. Decent winelist, attentive service, competitive prices. My only criticism is that it was high in salt content, unnecessarily as the spices should stand up on their own? (maybe, although I'm not a chef so no authority on the matter), as I was very, very thirsty afterwards. WIll go back though.

My partner and I visited this restaurant recently and were both very impressed with the experience. The staff were very attentive, the atmosphere was good and the food was magnificent. The mandatory pickle tray came first with popadoms closely followed by a small cup of specialty soup and mushroom. The main courses of butter chicken and lamb rogan josh were better than one usually expects and overall the meal was excellent .....and without a silly price tag.

Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend Indali Lounge.

Having been to the restaurant this weekend I can assure you that the food is outstanding and different to usual indian styles. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive.

I was very impressed with the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant .

I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and i am looking forward to my next visit.

Very recently been to this restaurant. I felt very much happy after having 3 course meal at Indali Lounge. first of all I was very confused about what to eat. then i asked for the recommendation to one of the staff member. To be honest he chose all the food for both of us.

As a starter we got platter of mix grill which was comprising of kebab, prawns, chicken, variety of fish and mushrooms and every item was delicious.

in the mains we got one of their signature dish called as Butter chicken tikka Indali(butter free), when I heard butter chicken without butter, i got confused, how is the butter chicken can be made without butter...Whatever....then we got some sauce based lamb dish...as a side order we got some plain tandoori naan and plain basmati rice. `main course was amazing.

third course(desserts). we got Gulab Jamun..which we shared between us...

After having this much of food we felt very happy as Shiraz was giving nice company to us.

Apart from food, the remaining things such as Service, atmosphere was incredibly amazing. The staff is very attentive and polite.

I was very much impressed by the the concept used by the restaurant as it was hailed as a healthiest curry house in London by media.

Overall I was very happy after choosing this restaurant for a dinner.

This place is poor and the hype is just that. I thought the service was as bland as the food. If this is healthy, I'd rather die a glutton unfortunately.

I took my parents and brother to Indali Lounge last night... but they treated us so badly we left before we ordered!!

It was early evening and we weren't starving so we wanted to order 3 set meals between 4 of us - but were told we couldn't. I asked to see the manager and explained it would be too much food to have 4 set meals but we were told that we could just take the left overs home!! But we wanted to eat in the restaurant we didn't go out to bring a takeaway home too.

They treated us like we were trying to pull a fast one or were too poor to afford to have 4 meals!! It was so embarrassing I took the manager to one side and said 'look, you're embarrassing me and my parents... we only want 3 set meals, what's the problem with that??' I even offered to buy 2 starters for the 4th person and the manager said she'd allow me to do that just this once... but it was so embarrassing that my brother wanted to leave and I quite agreed...

I wouldn't mind if they were full... but it was 6pm on a Sunday and they were absolutely EMPTY... we were the only people there!!! Its shocking it really is, I have never been made to feel so unwelcome in a restaurant.

Stumbled across this place with my colleague. Intrigued by the 'healthy' aspect of the food and the channel 4 recommendations we decided to try our luck

After being asked at least 3 times whether we ready to order our food having only arrived 5 minutes earlier we eventually selected our starters and mains...

Mine was 9 halves of mushrooms coated in masala which was ok(ish) flavour however for the price (50 pence per half mushroom) it was pretty steep and left me feeling hard done by until I saw what my colleague had, the Chaat Papdi Three Way...

This looked like a chocolate sundae... smothered in yoghurt my colleague found it impossible to finish. Unfortunately I had already scoffed my 4.5 button mushrooms which meant he too was left unfulfilled by his appetizer.

The main meal...A non butter "Butter Chicken" and Chicken Jalfrezi... They arrived in such tiny bowls that meant we had to fill up on the muesli naan bread (which I must say was the nicest tasting part of the meal).

When we started dipping into each others gravy we realised that they tasted exactly the same, despite mine supposedly having chillies in it. Bland and at a hefty price of a tenner for each dish an utter rip off.

Now being typically english we did not complain however bizarrely we were presented with a laminated A4 card detailing the Channel 4 accolade for us to read at our leisure, although I distinctly remember the Channel 4 logo being somewhat out-of-date

Spending £55 for two (including 2 beers) we thanked them and left.

We had to then find the nearest bar to remove the unusual and yoghurty flavours from our mouths.

Well maybe there is no such thing as a healthy curry afterall... bring back the Ghee is all I can say!

Avoid if you can, unless it's raining...
