Dined here before the "Pink" concert 27-04-2013 - The Hostess at the door could have been very much more welcoming but that was the only negative. The food was fabulous, the waiters attentive even though it was quite busy, and, with the four of us being big meat eaters, we really enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Will very definitely go back.

The idea of this dining experience sound good but you are reliant on the waiters bringing round the meats, cutting and the choice. I was not impressed by the service, the waiters came up to our table three times, no chicken at all, the beef was chewy and they had the cheek to add the tip (£5.99 for 2) to our bill.

The salad bar was ok but the Harvester is better and free! Now that I've tried it I wouldn't go back. It might have been the day we went, before a big concert, it might be better on quiet O2 days.

Been to all 3 branches and plenty of other churrascerias (Brazilian BBQ rotation, eat what you want)... However, this was the pits for me. Maybe we went on the wrong time but it was so BIG and full, much more like a dirty greasy cafe styled restaurant. really seemed unclean and the meat was poor quality and not cooked well. The staff seemed to be oblivious and were serving very randomly hence we were served dregs frequently and had to wait to be served for long periods of time (actually a trait of all Rodizio Rico's and they bring the beef last!!). Let's not even go to the salad bar. My fav Churrasco in London (that I know) is El Vaquero.

Me and my bf went there as we've been starving after one of the shows in o2.

Atmosphere was ok but I do agree with last review that tv is not really necessary in restaurant. U coming there to eat not to watch tv and is ditracting when u want to have peaceful meal.it was cold as well so is better o keep ur jacket on.lol..People working there they seems to be very friendly, they smile but them customer service need some improvement. After placing the order for a drink we recived them very quick but we waited quite long for someone to explain how the service work.We ve been told we can help ourselfs with salad bar and vegetarian hot section, that was fine with me as I dont eat meat but my bf waited for over 10min for 1st portion of meat, thats not good enough for someone very hungry. And than suddenly he was being ask every 2min if he want another kind of meat and another and another, quite annoying when you trying to eat.If you see someone having full plate with no space on it at all theres no point even to ask.so at the begin you starving and than you feel like you have to rush cos theres something elese to try.Food was delicious lots of choice and flavors so we did not bother to make any complain abt service but for sure next time we will go there we will mention it as is very important for people running this place to know how customers feel.We do apriciate all effort and smiles but at the end of the day is all abt feeling comfortable and satified when you going eat out.We dont want waitresses to be our servants but just to listen and understand our needs/speaking of which I do understand theres multiculture staff working there but they need to be able to understan basics and not all of them do.Anyway we will be back for sure as we loved food there and the price is very fair too.

I don't know where these people giving it a million stars went and ate, or how much they got paid to write these positive reviews. Maybe they think meat is what is found in a Big Mac. Even McDonalds would reject the stuff we got on our plates...

Arrived around 14:30 on a Friday. 4 adults and 2 children under 2.

Food: The grilled meat was cooked only on the outside (first slice you get) and any subsequent slices were more or less raw. All meats were ridiculously chewy and my plate was mostly filled with bits I gave up on or were just completely raw. We complained to the manager and he only charged us for the vegetarian options instead. We left hungry. And at over £60 (after reduction) it was a rip off.

Service: We had to complain about the non-existing service. And once we complained, we got first slices on all the meat, but couldn't help notice they would then move on to the next unfortunate customer, who would get the next raw slice (being too polite to say no I guess). They ignored the coloured cards we had as well). We then had to fork out a gratuity charge of 10% which I thought was ridiculous for having to flag people down all the time and getting the manager called... and for 4 adults?!! The whole point of this restaurant is the guys keep coming to your table, why am I paying for this service again??

Atmosphere: A bunch of TVs here and there playing south american concert music... hardly an atmosphere.

Value: Waste of time and rip off. I read similar bad reviews before I went but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and (wrongly) assumed people were there on an "off" day. I was wrong. I would give them -1 stars but the manager did try to rectify the issue. Unfortunately it seems to be common occurance.

Verdict: Don't bother, I have been to a few of these abroad, hence insisting I try one here regardless of reviews... this one is a fail. I am not a fussy eater, in fact I've probably never been to a decent restaurant... but to be served cartilage and blood and then expect to eat it?? Give me a break...

Went to watch some NBA at the O2 on Friday night and popped in to Rodizio Rico for a meat feast beforehand.

The menu is priced at £23.50 for unlimited salad buffet and skewers of meat. The buffet had a good choice with lots of different salads, beans, rice, potatoes, pastas and sauces. After an initial visit to the buffet the waiters started doing the rounds with the meat. The rump of beef, loin of lamb, beef skirt and chicken hearts were all very good. The chicken wings, garlic bread and pork were also pretty good and it was only the beef kebabs that were a let down, tasty but very tough.

Service for the food was good but we waited at least 10 to 15 minutes for each round of beer we ordered.

Overall not bad at all, just over £100 for 3 of us, and we were all stuffed when we left. Will go again for sure.

A month ago I was looking for a resturant to take some friends who were celebrating their wedding anniversary.

My son reccomended Rodizio Rico, he said we would not be dissapointed with the food. true to his word, the food was fantactic.

(If like me you are a meat lover then you are in for a treat)

Good quality food, good friendly service.

We are planning to return with some more friends.

Before we left the manager gave us a bottle of wine and a glass of brandy each.

I'll recommend Rodizio Rico to all who like a good service and good food.

Went there Saturday 14th August for dinner. Party of 12. We were quicley seated when we arrived (we had booked) and the restaurant was heaving. Once all our party had arrived we went up to the salad buffet. Loads of lovely salad bits and bobs, plus a curry and rice. Got a selection and sat down and then the onslaught began!!! There was a constant stream of waiters bringing round meat and fish there was never a time when we had no meat on our plates. All of it was lovely (one bit of beef was a LITTLE tough but I like mine quite rare and it was still lovely). Meat was always hot and well seasoned and for 99% cooked really really well. Fish was lovely too.

Had a problem with the drinks though, ordered a bottle of Rose (and the cheapest was £19+ ) waited half an hour for it, reminded the waitress who dashed off to get it to then come back and tell me they hadnt got that one. So I picked the next cheapest one (£23) waited another 10 mins to be told they hadnt got that either so I told her not to worry.

Checked the bill carefully but it was correct for drinks etc. Also, they had not charged for the child we had with us but then she was only 3!

Good points: Fast buffet service. Lovely food. Good atmosphere.

Bad points: Hit and miss drinks service. Dessert not included in the buffet - they are about £6 extra. SERVICE CHARGE!!!

This was my main gripe - they slapped a £30 service charge on the bill which, had i been there with my O/H I would have queried as it is a buffet restaurant. Plus it was 12% which I think is far far too much and I also dislike ANY restaurant adding service to a bill automatically as it should be at the discretion of the diner. However everyone else made no quibble and I didnt want to be the only one so I paid my share.

I do think it is a bit expensive there BUT thats London for ya, however I would go again. I have read some reveiws criticising the veggie options (we had no veggies with us) but seriously, why the hell would a veggie go to an all you can eat BBQ restaurant anyway?! Of course you will just get salad! There was SOME provision for veggies but not much, however I didnt expect that due to the nature of the restaurant!

what the bloggers say

Pig Pig's Corner

Pig Pig's Corner

Thursday, July 16, 2009 - Rodizio Rico offers all you can eat grilled meat and a variety of side dishes both hot and cold. The interesting bit about this is how you get served your meat: waiters will come to your table bearing skewers of meat and slice some for you if you so desire...The beef came in a variety of cuts, none of which I fully understood the ramifications of nor did I remember their names. The first cut to arrive was a topside, which was reasonable, but a bit too salty and dry. I would have preferred the rarer slices in the middle but the waiter said it was too rare...The pork ribs on the other hand, were very tender and had just enough salt to heighten the taste of the meat. My only regret of the night was not eating more of them.
