We ate at Cheyenne Spur Steak and Grill prior to the Peter Kaye concert on Wed 8th June 2011. The service was poor although there were plenty of staff and we were left without serviettes or cutlery. My boyfriend ordered ribs which arrived and were very poor quality and there was so little meat on them he actually left hungry. The onion rings were soggy and the price was too high for such poor quality food and we shall not be attending this venue again and would advise others to not go there.

Been here about 3 or 4 times, with my boyfriend, and we're even going there for a joint birthday deal with a group of friends. If there's an event on, don't bother as you could be queueing for up to 45 minutes, but that said all the other restaurants will be in exactly the same predicament.

Food wise, there's so much to offer it's overwhelming. Don't bother with the onion rings though - bleurgh! They are oily and crispy. The sirloin filled me up, I couldn't finish my chips and my boyfriend, who loves his food, couldn't finish his second order of chips either (unusual). If you go on a sunday, they do an all you can eat ribs and wings with portion of chips and onion rings for £12.95, with a bottomless drink your total meal could easily be around £16 because you won't have room for dessert. For a night out, that's bleeding good but could be better.

Service, there's one waiter I love to death. He's an absolute delight but other times, it's a little lack lustre. They do try though, which having been out with friends to various places, is better than you can expect sometimes. Nothing's perfect but this is quite good.

i went to spur over the weekend for the lady gaga concert and was impressed at the service as well as the food. The staff are very attentive and i believe it is a well managed restaurant. My husband had a 170z rump steak which was superb as expected from a steak house and i enjoyed a fajita. Loved the whole experience. Would definately recommend it.

Great value for money venue - especially in the O2 where prices are exorbitant - service was quick and efficient and looked like everybody working here enjoy their job - we were checked on all the time if we were ok or if we required anything else - will def be back - thank you to all

A group of us visited the O2 at the weekend. All of us, bar one, had eaten together there some years ago and had had an enjoyable meal. We could not remember the name or location and so had a look around the various eateries. The decision came down to two; Spurs and one other. In the end we decided on Spurs as it was busier suggesting better food/value for money. They were operating a queue and we had a ten minute wait for a table. The queue grew whist we were eating and must have been 30 – 60 minutes half an hour after we were seated. Menus came and we ordered about ten minutes later.

The drinks came quickly and then we waited. The two on wine had finished their first bottle by the time the starters came! A few nibbles would have been appreciated. When the starters came they were huge one person had “nachos and chilli” – a full size plate so heaped up it would have been too much for a main course. Another person had the calamari – this came with about four pieces of calamari and a pile of chips! When the main courses came they were even vaster. They seem to love heaping on the chips and onion rings. This was despite one person asking for no onion rings.

The menu has a 64 oz steak that is free if you can finish it! However one person did order a somewhat smaller steak and when it came it had definitely shrunk! Now I know there is a difference between cooked and uncooked weights but this was rather unbelievable. They also commented on how it was done. It varied in thickness by a factor of two, which suggested poor butchery skills, and as a result was somewhat variable. Everybody was so bloated in the end we decided to skip the desserts and go for liqueur coffee. The choice of liqueurs was minimal – no Tia Maria, no Amaretto, not much at all in fact.

I, and most of the others, are unlikely come here again. Quality has fallen by the wayside and quantity does not balance this out. So near yet so far!

I have now read a review of the restaurant we did not go to and it does not fare well either. Maybe the O2 restaurants have a captive audience which stops them upping their game?

Don't waste your money and time going to the Spur's in London, it's nothing like the Spur's in South Africa. They say everything is just like in SA, but it's not even close, chicken wings for starter was horrible, nothing like back home and the sauce was something i never even tasted in my life..and wouldnt want to taste again!! Not even to talk about the main..it was a disgrace and a total waste of Money and Time.

The service was poor aswell we wated for ages for someone to take our order and to clear the tables, the supervisor walks around as if she's a model...in my eyes she doesn't even care about managing the restaurant!!

Don't waste your money! Quality of the food and service is really bad. Came here on Friday. Queued for 10-15 minutes before being shown to our table. We ordered and then spent the next 30 minutes waiting for our food to arrive! It was ridiculous. I inquired after 15 minutes (as my stomach was seriously rumbling!). We were told that the kitchen was busy and that customers should expect to wait 20-25 minutes for their food to arrive. This was normal at Spurs O2. Anyway, the waitress reassured us that our food would arrive in 5, so we waited...and waited...

Our meals finally arrived. I had ordered a sirloin steak and my boyfriend a chicken enchilada. What a pathetic sight they were. The enchilada was small and unappetising and my sirloin gave me jaw ache!

So in summary:- Food - very poor. Service- what service? Value - overpriced. The price does not match the quality of food offered.

I went here randomnly when i was at the o2 and I didn't know what to expect. The waiter 'Rikus' I think his name was, was very friendly and helpful. The food portions are amazing, you'll be feel bloated after the starters. The main course was delicious and the presentation was very good. The dessert could have been better but was not bad either. I recommend this place if you're a fan of TGI's and Frankie and Benny's.
